Darbgnik-I believe you like the 5 spokes:D
BTW-Don't know how much this will enter in on my decision to sale but my better half likes the HRE's the best. If I keep the 5 spokes I may get a :spank:. You know at my age I may just enjoy this sale.;)

Does Cal Chrome do this or did you have it done by someone else? Seems like it would not be to hard a project especially with the wheels off the Viper. If I keep the 5 spokes I will see what I can do.
Your chromed H wheels really look great on your Viper. After seeing your H...
Appreciate the comments.
For more $ I could of had the inside barrel chromed as well but as mentioned on another thread this is done mostly to show cars.
The main reason I sent the wheels to Cal Chrome was curb rash. Chroming will take care of curb rash so no addition expense was involved...
Michelin 19" Sport Cups on the rear. Had these on both sets of wheels. Good sticky tire in warmer weather.
I think the chromed 5 spokes will look great on the Viper. I am from the old school I do like chrome wheels. The HRE's do look very good on the Viper and they also set out about 3/4"...
Just got my 5 spokes back from Cal Chrome. They really look good.
I did pick up some used HRE 547's in very good shape so I could still drive the Viper while the 5 spokes were being chromed. I like these wheels especially the 3" lip on the rear. They are a very high polished wheel with...
This is what I did-I purchased a set of nice used HRE 547's at a good price and sent the 5 spokes to Cal Chrome.
Now I have a big decision-I really like the HRE but got my 5 spokes back from Cal Chrome yesterday and they really look great. I have got to make up my mind on which rims to keep.
Same problem here at the local shops. They say they can do it without scratching but I always find a few.
That is why it is best, if you can, to send the rims with tires on them to Cal Chrome. Cost more in shipping but no scratches or dents and they come back balanced ready to install.
"i would not recommend having the inner barrel done as this is the part of the rim that suffers the most abuse in terms of dust, grime, rocks etc and probably would chip/pitt over time."
This is what Cal Chrome told me when I ask about getting the barrel chromed.
I may give the sealant a try.
These 547's are clear coated over a very high polish wheel. They look just like chrome. Most people cannot believe it when I tell them they are polished wheels with clear coat. These rims set out 3/4" further than the 5 spokes and not for sure but probably not as heavy.
Can't wait to see your...
I did not have the barrels chromed on the 5 spokes. They told me it is done mainly on the show cars.
Malu-Hope Rocket don't mind but here is a pic of my Viper with the HRE 547's.
Wow-they look great-hard to beat the 5 spokes.
I should have my 5 spokes back from Cal Chrome Tuesday. I have some very nice used HRE 547's on now. I am going to wait and see which ones I want to keep. After seeing your great pics I may keep the 5 spokes-they are beautiful. Can't wait to...
I would be interested.
Nitto will be coming out with a new 19" R compound tire in February-the NT05-I am hearing that it will be a good sticky tire. I may give this tire a try. It may be good for the street.
Grant- I also have the 19" Cups on the rear. Great tire in warm weather but very bad...
Need info on getting a video/audio(exhaust sound) on the SRT forum. I can load pics fine but can't get the video/audio on. I tried uploading and it refuses.
I use the Adobe Photo shop 6 to store & edit pics & also store the Video/audio I have of my exhaust.
Any info would be appreciated
Agree with u TexasSnake
I have the Belanger headers and mufflers with no cats. I Love the sound. I drive a lot around town and have very little smell - if any- even at wot. The sills run cool as a cucumber.
I will admit that I take my hearing aids out when I drive the Viper. :)
Shoot-a...
Never tried the Invo's but the new Nitto NT05 will be out in February with a lot of different size options. A R compound tire that will be available in the 19" size-335/30ZR19. The UTQG is 200 so it may not be a real sticky tire. It probably will stick better than the invo.
I have the 19" Cups...
