I was recently at a car show with my Gen IV ACR and two guys walked by in their early 40's and one of them had their son with him who was about 12 or 13. The three walked by and the kid says, "whoa, dad look at that viper!", the two men stop and turn to look, he ponders it for about 2-3...
If the raffle winner is having trouble financing and reading this thread, I'll pay him 5k cash on his $125 investment and take care of the taxes on my end if he signs the car over to me. :D
That setup look awesome. I was under the impression that the 50+lbs of weight savings was from the hatch, not the glass. Mine is still a street car so no lexan for me. You don't happen to make the louvers/vent for air extraction behind the front wheels in carbon fiber by chance?
Thanks for the reply. When you say the weight difference is substantial, what do you mean? The 2 sided CF hood is substantially lighter or heavier than OEM?
I just bought an ACR. I wouldn't be interested at any price over 30k with previous frame damage. Without frame damage but with a reconstructed title, I'd be willing to pay 50k if the work was done right.
What is the primary size on the dyno tested shorty headers? Also, can you quote us a price on a set of the shorty headers and what we would need as far as ECM/Tuning? Is the Mopar ECM sufficient or something else?

GreenVenom, I live in Center Grove. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check them out.
I'm new to the VCA and am really enjoying my '09 ACR. I live on the south side of Indy and am currently looking for recommendations on the BEST paint shop to do some work on my viper. I'd like to get a driver stripe painted on the car. Price isn't really an issue, I just want the best...
