    Just saw the new Viper

The best looking rear end in the car manuf. industry right now, in my opinion, is the Aston. So this is great news.

GEN V Viper picture at VOI 11....

Runnr - someone always seems to know how to foil even the best security screening. I can tell by the number of pens in your pocket that you are a likely candidate for figuring out how to bypass that kind of stuff. So on that note....... POST THE PIC !!!! :rolaugh::eater:

GEN V Viper picture at VOI 11....

Somebody has a picture...... Somebody, somewhere, at this very moment, is asking themselves - "if I post this pic, will I be deemed a hero?, OR , if I post this, will I be deemed a goofball traitor?" Post it!!!!! You will be my hero! I promise !!! ;) :rolaugh:

I was the victim of a Viper hate crime

It's human nature for people to incorrectly correlate speed with the type of car you drive. The sleeker, more sporty, and louder you are - the faster you seem to be driving. I've said this before in another thread - I see minivans and other "unnoticeable" cars flying around at speeds well over...

    Video camera mount info needed.

I set up the tri-pod with 2 legs in the rear hatch and 1 leg tucked in beside the seat. But if that redneck setup doesn't work you can always try duct tape. ;)

How much of attention getter are Vipers?

This thread is actually quite entertaining, I must say.:eater: While the attention that one garners while driving a Viper can be flattering, it can have its drawbacks. Sometimes I want to take the Viper out to do errands because it's fun to drive, however, many days I don't care to be noticed...

Would you support a V8 Viper?

Personally I love the sound of a thumping V8 - probably more than the sound of a V10. But I don't want a v8 available on the new Vipers if that is going to make them cheaper to buy. The last thing we all want to see is more Vipers on the road. I hope the production stays at less than 2,000...

    Car Trailer Maintanence

Unless you have sealed bearings in the wheel hubs - everyone should keep the dustcovers on tight and grease the fittings every thousand miles or so. This seems to be the oft overlooked factor regarding trailers on the side of the road with a failed or loose wheel bearing. Choose your grease...

    Driving Shoes (What you wearing?)

I was just thinking of this today - and found this thread. I wore my steel toe work boots one day and almost killed myself. There was no pedal feedback and I couldn't tell if my boots were halfway on the brake when pushing the accelerator. I had been using my cheap $20 pair of Converse for...

    How Stupid Is This??

The parts guy is a fool. He's asking to borrow one of the customers vehicles to take to a car show???? Honestly ?? Wow. I've had friends ask to borrow my "toys" alot more in the past but I eventually learned how to say NO. I can't think of one time something didn't happen or at the very...

Could this be our next Viper?

The Devon looks too much like a Pontiac Solstice. I had that feeling yesterday, but after driving by one today, it is confirmed.

Could this be our next Viper?

I've looked at all the pics, the first 10 minutes I was disgusted, then in the last little bit here I'm starting to rethink my initial viewpoint..... Hmmmmmmm......

    Out numbered

hey guys - thanks for your thoughts. Not to beat a dead horse, but I was thinkin.... A lot of car shows now have the main "classic" section and then a smaller area seperate from the classics where speciality or sports cars can park. It makes good business sense really, as alot of younger...

    Out numbered

Thanks Mopar Boy for sharing your story with me. I too was hoping to meet you tonite. Your comments on this board are always entertaining and interesting to read. Its funny 'cause my initial thought was that it was an age thing too - An age thing AND a Viper thing put together ;) I've had...

duPont Registry's top cars of the century, in review

I usually buy Dupont registry each month, but not this one for some reason.... Was this in the latest edition of Dupont Registry magazine on the shelves - or just the website? The crossing out of the 93-99 Trans Am ticked me off. Anyone who's ever owned one knew just how under-rated they...

    Out numbered

Yeah, sorry we didn't meet up. This was the first car show I have gone to all year, and since joining the VCA I was hoping to meet some fellow area Viper owners such as yourself. I spent 2 hours detailing the Viper earlier today. The two yellow ones were probably Mopar Boy and a guy named...

hey Big Al - I saw your car at Haugens tonite. I was only there for 5 minutes before I got asked to leave:lmao: I must apologize to all the Viper folk who are desperately trying to eliminate the "arrogant" or "cocky" presumption which is attached to Viper drivers. But first some context...

    Learn to Park

Ockay Cop Magnet I looked at the photo again. I had assumed the building across the thoroughfare was another building and not the Target. (Who knew Target had such nice stone facade ??;)) And then looking into the "victim's" mirror realized that there was no other building - yes he was parked...

:smirk: yeah, I got some opinions on the dealers around here...... Hope to see you tonite - if you get your car back. Hopefully it will be a simple fix.
