I put mine on so long ago I don't remember if there is less heat but I'm sure that it's less. As far as power mine put down 429 rwhp with the Edelbrock headers and Borla cat back. Except for where I scratched them they look like new.
Aside from SVS not returning any of my email inquiries about their adapter, which made me look in other directions. I found that most of the parts are off the shelf. Most of the expense comes from beefing up the trans to handle additional power and torque. And for the record I'm probably going...
You are all WAY off. I'm in the process of doing this on a project car. I have done some measurements and it appears that it will fit without any mods to the viper tunnel. The cost for the trans (built to withstand 800 hp and 800 ft torque), converter, flywheel (flex plate) and a floor shifter...

"This should be made into a sticky."
I doubt it as the site is controlled by DC so they can't be to crazy about us trying avoid getting "Viper taxed".
Where is the post that has the what fits from other cars info? I've searched for it to no avail. I want to know what other alternator and power steering pump fits a GEN 1.
Thanks.
I am putting a GEN 1 engine in a project car. I'd like to use a GEN 2 pcm and harness because of it's more streamline approach and availability. I've looked at the GEN 1 and 2 setups and it looks like just the post cat o2's are different. It would also allow me to use an AEM ECU if I wanted...
I have 2 Perfect Park 7000 four post and a Eagle MX9A (9000lb)two post lift in my garage. They get frequent workouts and I'm very happy with them. I don't believe these Perfect Park lifts will not be useful for your truck as they are not heavy duty enough. If I remember correctly the Eagle...
