There is alot of controversy on this topic. The type of repair that is used for speed rated tires is a combination plug and patch. IMHO, if you don't track your car, a combination plug/patch such as the one in the link below is safe to about 130-140 mph. Any higher speeds and it's just not worth...
Try Viper Performance Parts (Kyle Batman) [email protected] or 705-254-4994
I bought a 3.55 diff from him and got a great deal. I don't think you will beat his prices. :2tu:
I've researched many ways to pay for performance mods and I have good news..................I just saved a load of money on my car insurance!! :p
(I love those Geico commercials)
I installed it myself last weekend. It was pretty straight forward. One thing you will need to do is get the speedo calibrator, three new strap kits, lube and modifier and gray silicone sealant. I would recommend contacting Devin at UNITRAX. Great customer service!
I bought a complete 3.55 diff. from Viper Performance Parts (Kyle Batman) recently and am completely happy with it. It arrived just as he said it would; however delivery did take a while. I would definitely buy from him again.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. The same thing happened to me. I came home and stopped abruptly at my house, then shut it off. The next day when I started it, huge amounts of smoke came out of the passenger side exhaust and some condensation as well. I thought for sure it was the...
Re: What is the strangest or BEST reaction you\'ve had to driving your viper
I have two stories that I think tie for my best:
1. The second day that I had my Viper I'm passing through a school zone on the way to a meeting. I'm looking straight ahead when I faintly hear a kid scream "look a...
I recently purchased a SmartTire system with the remote function display (which works great by the way) and I was wondering if anyone could help me find the easiest/best way to hardwire it? With the receiver, full function display and my radar detector all using the cigarette lighter socket...
I had Ryan put the 3M film on my Viper last year and I love it. You can't tell that it is there unless you look real close. I also have the headlight and fog light film which is much thicker. Email me if you would like to see some photos.
Just curious, why aren't there zerk fittings on the u-joints for the driveshaft or halfshafts? I would think that greaseable u-joints would last longer (not that I've had any problems so far). Are sealed u-joints better?
Thanks,
Jim
Ron,
I put RT high flow cats on after installing a Corsa Cat-back, and the addition of the cats made a significant increase in sound (I have a sound level meter and can give you decible readings if you like). At first I thought it was a bit loud, but I really like now. As far as heat reduction...
I'm not sure if they are interchangeable, but here is one off a '97 GTS for sale.

In my old house I ran a line from my utility room which had a 230 outlet for the dryer. I just drilled a 3/4 inch hole in the wall to the garage and ran the wire along the base board trim to the compressor.
Piece of cake!
You will need a reducer to connect the header to the cat.
Call Partsrack for one.
Also, you may want to do a search for high flow cats and Corsa exhaust.
