First time at the track
One trick people do for higher traps is (shallow stage), or higher ET (deep stage). GOOGLE "Deep Stage" and "Shallow Stage". ALSO, elevation makes a big difference.... higher altitude = less air for combustion. The best time anyone has gone in a stock GTS was 11.7 I believe (really good...- -FROG-

Wheel hop 1-2 and 2-3 shift 1/8 mile drags
Sorry, yea, they were 345/30-18 and HOOKED like a mofo. I'm now running Nitto 555 335/35-18. They hook amazing on the street but I noticed they weren't as sticky as the BFG's at the drag strip. I lost a few tenths last time I ran with these tires but some of it may have been due to the...- -FROG-

Fuel pump DIY??

Wheel hop 1-2 and 2-3 shift 1/8 mile drags
Through some of my research in the past, I found that wheel hop is what contributes to breaking half shafts, so be careful. I would back off the throttle a little till you find the sweet spot. A little seat time will help figure out the wheel hop a bit but I think suspension upgrades will be the...- -FROG-

lol thanks guys! My girl and I are making due quite well without her parents! :) I need to go drive the car and really feel what 2 lbs can do lol!!! p.s.... already spun the tire in my Mustang on accident in front of them on a wet road.... didn't help at all.- -FROG-

lol, yea that's what I wish would happen but when people get set in their ways, there's no way of winning their heart when all they can see is bad in everything being done. My girl and I are over it and moving on with or without them... As for boost... I would like to go way more than 6#, but...- -FROG-

Paxton Supercharger, only running at 2lbs of boost. = 50HP gain. Should be 6lbs of boost to = 150HP gain.- -FROG-

Fuel gauge goes down like CRAZY now... Still too much fuel at the moment and can't get into boost, so working with David Weaver on trimming the fuel back a little at a time for now. At least I can drive it, just can't go full throttle. :( Such a tease!- -FROG-

-FROG-'s Viper GTS Paxton Supercharger project pics.
Thanks for the heads up. Baffles were sealed when I pulled them apart. There is an open area in the baffeles, so they are not totally sealed. One reason for sealing the edges is to keep them from making so much noise, (clattering against the metal when tapping on them) from vibration. I just...- -FROG-
