Just saw an 02 RT/10 with only 3,000 mi. and the hard roof still in a box-never put on car -bid 35,000 and no sale on the live Mecum auction from Indianapolis-Makes me wonder what my 01 is worth having over 10,000 miles on it. Doesn't seem to be much interest from the bidders
That's the unknown-a refresh could just mean a new color -different emblems -new grille-no one really knows at this point-Go with the known=everyone on here seems to love their TA's
seems to be the way to go!!
I'm talking about the age of the cars-you stated that in 20 years from now the viper would be in great demand-I pointed out that there are already 20 year old Vipers and there isn't a great demand for them-I wasn't talking about 20 year old people
You realize that the first gens are 20 years old -where's the great demand from the public-it doesn't exist-I think that the Viper 20 years from now will still only appeal to a select few-like us on this site
Don't forget that there is a fee for selling the car at BJ's auction-might get 10 grand less than what it bids for-That's why Jackson always has that grin on his face -he collects from both buyer and seller
From what I've seen watching Motorweek, they won't hesitate to tell you if they feel there is a downside to the car they are reviewing-or if they don't feel it is as good as a previous model of the same car-I feel they are fair in their reviews and this was a glowing review of the TA
I have done a bit of handling testing at a bit more speed now. The car is confidence inspiring. It is clearly a bit more predictable than prior Gens.
I still want to see you drive it during a cat 5 hurricane with the rain mode on and off and let us know how it handles-Thank you
i'd rather take the one with the tumors because she's more unique-like a viper-the good looking one 's are a dime a dozen-you see them everywhere -like a Vette
Bill and Jon B- Thank you for your response to my question and enlightening me-I was under the impression that most of these companies were using blanks made in China and just assembling and machining them in the US-It;s really good to know that this company is pure USA -Will be my next choice...
As far as I know, there are no rotors being cast in the USA,where is the foundry that these rotors are being made in the USA-orare they just machined in the USA
yea,but they will sell all of them-not make a thousand cars and have half of them sitting around unsold-lets face it,there are still 2010 vipers brand new on the lots for sale and they are 4 years old
