Solid Blue 06 Coupes?
According to the Viper Registry there were 65 Blue - No Stripe 06 coupes built, 39 with 5 spoke sidewinder wheels and the balance with the other wheel types. I have one of the 39, and NO it's not for sale!- fqberful

Winterizing a Viper
Well actually there's 2 months when we curtail our driving of nice cars a bit, love-bug season, around memorial day and labor day. Those nasty little critters will eat your paint and mess up a perfectly good radiator, but winter time in FL is the best time for a viper!- fqberful

Corsa Track Exhaust
The side sills are slotted, you do not have to remove the nuts, just loosen them a few turns to allow the side sill to slide off. On my '06 coupe the bottom of the front stud actually contacts the inner fender liner so you can't remove the nut and you can't get a box end or socket on it. I...- fqberful

RWH vs BHP
The generally accepted values are 17% with a stick and about 22% with a slush box. These can vary a couple percent. My dyno experience over a number of years pretty much supports these values. Why 3.07 gears in the Viper
Actually my mileage got better with '06 coupe on the highway and a bit better in town if driven conservatively [well sometimes] because I can actually use 6th and don't have to open the throttle nearly as much to maintain speed. Bang for the buck?
That's about what my '06 coupe was doing average between town / hiway mix. Went to 3.55's and it went up .. does pretty close to 20 hwy and about 13-14 in town now. I cruise @80 most times. Noise in cabin reduced also because you don't have to hold it to the floor in 6th gear to maintain...- fqberful

You could always move a few miles south to FL, they're $35 here also. Of course you'd get nailed by property taxes and home owners insurance that are out of site ... There are unfortunately a number of states that base tag fees on some valuation, usually theirs and with little room to contest... -

Need to quite down a 522CID motor
I have a Gen III [ '06 coupe ] that I went catless and used the MOPAR Perf exhaust. While it is 3" inlet the muffler is actually a lot longer than stock and has 4 tubes inside the body instead of one big one. The fit is very good. Ignition wires to which coil connection?
Hi, The 04 Ram & SRT FSM on page 8I-21 says "Take care to match cylinder number on ignition coil with cylinder number on ignition cables" ... There's no pictures I can find that show the physical location but the implication is the coils are marked -- so you should be able to match the wires...- fqberful

Mopar race exhaust modification

What would be the perfect gear for 08 ??
I went to a Quaiffe and 3.55's .. reason is that 6th gear was totally unusable at speeds below 85-90mph. Now the mileage is BETTER cruising at 75-80mph because I don't have to hold it to the floor to maintain speed even here in relatively flat Florida. The issue has nothing to do with...- fqberful

Wheel Hop
Tire sealant is a bad idea, it may destroy the TPS and corrode the wheels. Instead carry one of those small air compressors that plugs into the lighter, a small scissor jack, and a tire plugging kit. This will fix anything that isn't damage to a sidewall, nothing will fix that and sidewall...- fqberful
