Re: Dyno on a \'93 RT
DOH! Dont know why I thought you had the gts Right now it looks like my family is going to Gulf Shores in June for a week so that will eat my vacation time and available funds Sure do wish we could make it to Shreveport. Someone please take some pics for us!! Looks...
You might also want to give JonB a call at Parts Rack. They also sell the high flow cats and are claimed to have the highest flowing ones around. Im sure JonB could tell you MUCH more!
I've not seen a 2001, but I doubt anything has changed. They say alpine on them, but I can promise you that you wont find them in any audio store. They are alpine made for chrysler. If it is like my '00 you will not be able to change out the radio without changing out the amp and vice versa...
Check out www.kinesismotorsport.com and click on the link for viper wheels. They have some nice closeups on that site and some good side views of their wheels on the viper.
Re: Zaino = Miracles; a disbeliever\'s story.
Actually they are priced right along with the other leading waxes/polishes. Check www.zainobros.com and click on the order form link for the prices. You wont be dissapointed.
Re: Zaino = Miracles; a disbeliever\'s story.
Zaino is still mail order only. Visit www.zainobros.com for the tips, tricks, etc... You can find the order form there as well to print and mail in. Not sure about the stripes.....better wait for Sal to respond to that one.
I went through my local dealer. He did not have a car on site, but was able to put a locater on one for me. He had it shipped in for me on it's own transport. I paid about 6k under msrp, $69,000 even on my brand new 2000 gts. Even gave me a much lower than the average interest rate! I could...
They should be pre-oiled. I know that mine were from the blue stuff all over the plastic bags they were shipped in. You should be able to throw em in and be good to go!
And please dont spend $1000 on a pair of components! Unless you are a serious conisseur of audio equipment you will not be able to tell enough difference between those quarts and a set of less expensive speakers. If you like quart, and they are great speakers, try some of their less expensive...
The stock system should have 6.5" woofers in the doors and a set of 1" tweeters by the handle. In mine, the 6.5" aftermarket speakers would not fit without modification of the holes. I went with 5.25" and it was perfect. The speakers in your center should be 6.5" as well. Actually the guy...
I have found that simply changing the stock shifter knob to an mgw gripper knob works wonders. Inexpensive and only takes 5 minutes of your time. The mgw coupled with a new shaft from Rich Detert should take out the "looseness" you stated. Good luck!
Daffy, I noticed you listed crutchfield as a potential point of purchase? They are a great company, but rarely have better than retail prices. They do have great service and tech support. Their website is a great place to start your search as they have most every audio component out there...
If you want to see immediate improvement, but dont want to spend several hundred $$ on a B&M ripper I would suggest you check out the MGW gripper shifter at http://www.mgwltd.com/ and also the new shifter shaft at http://www.shifterparts.bigstep.com/ You can get both of those items for under...
I have also heard that Bill Pemberton is a good person to deal with on a viper purchase. To get you started you may want to have a look at the classifieds on the main site www.viperclub.org Also, if you decide to buy used, you should try to contact a VCA member in the area where the car is...
How hard is it to swap those emblems around? Mine are red right now like the car, but I really like the look of those chrome/silver ones. Really stands out! Is this something that can be done at home or best left to an autobody shop or dodge?
From memory, so bare with me.......
0-60 in 3.9sec
1/4 mile in 11.9 sec at 120+mph.
Base price was listed at our current base.
I belive that they stated these numbers were estimates. They would have to wait till Summer for an actual test of the '03.
Rich, you should be able to find a good one for under $300 now. I stick with pioneer as it has always been good to me. Prices have come waaaaaay down. Some for under $200, but those are the ones that dont have "brand name" recognition for being quality products. I would suggest pioneer or...
You dont have to remove the dash to get to the radio. You just have to pop out the plastic piece around the radio and down to around the shifter. Just lift up carefully from the bottom around the shifter and pop the clips then work your way up. Unplug the lighter connection and, if you have...
They should be 6.5" in the center divider. They also should be 6.5" in the doors, but 5.25" fit better/easier IMO. If you want to look around online for some good deals check out: www.sounddomain.com www.audio-n-more.com www.woofersetc.com www.thezeb.com That should get you started...
Nevermind......my copy was in my mailbox when I got home from work today The case for it is pretty cool! I personally like the longer version of the commercial. Great stuff!!
I guess all the southern owners will have to wait for our copy a bit longer Hopefully it will be here soon as well! Is it basically the same as the commercial, obviously a bit longer?
Thanks
My tech quoted me $170 for all 4 wheels so maybe around $85 bucks. Just a guess though. Just give the service center a call and the service advisor should be able to find out for you exactly how much.
