If the car is a true virgin with no stories, I would guess you could get mid 40's pretty quick. More than that would take holding out for the right buyer. IMO

Are you using a charger or a tender? The clips on most tenders are pretty small and would let you close the hood. Or just hard wire it and be done with it. I used the cigarette lighter for years too.
If you have a Gen I car and have the factory stereo that did not come with a CD changer, you can add one with this adapter and it will run off of the factory head unit. Just buy an Alpine M-bus 6 disk changer and plug and play.

I have found that my gas mileage improved when switching to deeper gears on other cars. The reason as mentioned earlier is I was not having to put my foot in the throttle as far to get the same acceleration. It's more about gas mileage vs how you actually drive than ultimate theoretical gas...
I would treat that car like any other 3,000 mile Viper. Could be perfect could be roached. Your name hits the title first and it has a decent warranty. Other than that it is a "used" car.
