    ACR vs. SRT aero pkg.

Had mine up to 170 and it made me uncomfortably concerned enough not to go any higher. The cover floated and fluttered rather violently at that speed. My next Viper will more than likely be a coupe. Phil

Let's Have The Vca Send Dodge To The Ring With The Acr!!!!

Viper Quarterly Magazine, Summer 2008 Edition, Page 20: Warranty As a final note, it's important that ACR owners understand that the manufacturer warranty does not cover any racing, track use and some adjustments from factory settings. Many people ask about this, especially since the Viper...

    Red coupe around pole

I have not driven an 08 yet but wonder about this: could there be a delayed reaction to throttle input since the 08's have throttle by wire as opposed to direct mechanical linkage/cable on all previous Vipers. If this were the case, it could potentially lead to mismatched revs on downshifts...

Installation of Team Tech 6-Points in '08 Coupe

Hey Stealth DC performance installed mine, they did a great job, do not remember what they charged because they did a lot of work that time getting my car upgraded for Viper Days. Since you are in SoCal, I would say go see them, they are top notch in quality of service, attention to details...

    Do you ever feel guilty...?

Oh yes, I feel very guilty...every time I look at my Viper, just parked in the garage and me not driving it. Oh yes, I feel very guilty because the car deserves so much better, like me taking it out to the track and exercising it the way it is supposed to be. Oh yes, I feel very guilty...

Viper GTS Body Kit For Corvettes !!!

OK then, let's take this one step further: Install the body kit, paint and do not forget the stripes. But it is still a Vette in disguise. It lacks "Authenticity". Next step, rip the small block out and replace it with a Viper engine. Call it a ZO10 and Voila..... Just kidding folks...

    ACR in Top Gear magazine

Not all B & N carry Top Gear. I have been able to buy them in the past at the larger B & N's and the same stores also carry Race Car Engineering. Some of the smaller stores do not carry either. This has been my experience in the recent past. Phil

Bloomberg.com - "Flies Like Bat out of Hell"

Terrific write-up! Much better, much more objective than anything I read in the auto rags such as Car & Weenies, etc. No bitching about the lack of cupholders, just an observation about it. This is my favorite part of the article and I know that your good friend Chuck will wholeheartedly...

Anybody with 315's front tires on 11.5" wide rims?

Hey 2002_Viper_GTS_ACR, thanks for your feedback! Why would I go that extra .5? Contemplating the Jeff Lemke Street Serpent conversion and it would nicely fill the wider front end and also afford a bit less "ballooning" with a wider rim, giving a bit less steering input delay and making the...

Anybody with 315's front tires on 11.5" wide rims?

Sorry for the duplicate thread, I asked the same question in the tire and wheel section but got no response, only a few views. Does anybody have any experience with 315/30-18 on 11½ ” wide rims in the front on a Gen 3? Any rubbing issue? What is the offset value? Comments and...

    1st 08' Belanger install!

Thanks for posting this great information, Chris. Now imagine the ACR so equipped + 1000lbs of downorce @ 150 mph! I would say very serious competition for the Comp Coupe and street legal (well sort of...)! I strongly recommend that anybody buying an ACR should do another mod involving...
