    Kenne Bell 3.6 ltr Blower

Eddie, I always kept the stock half shafts as my fuse, or weak link, in the drivetrain. I figured its easier and cheaper to replace a half shaft rather than the rearend or trans. With better tires, you may risk breaking if you get wheel hop. Funny thing is the car never really suffered from...

    Kenne Bell 3.6 ltr Blower

Still the stock clutch, which held up pretty well in my opinion. I debated on throwing in a new lightweight flywheel also, but never pulled the trigger. Get that thing to the strip and see what she does;)

    Gen 1 ... more power

Eddie, Joe gave me the flow numbers when he did the heads, just cannot remember what they were. They were not as good as Greg gets with Gen 2's, but within about 3% I believe. I think the cam was just a tad over .600, 232/236 duration on a 114 I think. With more fuel, bigger intake and...

    95 viper fuel pump

Labor charge is crazy, I did my gen 1 pump and it was not hard at all. Get the car up in the air, grab a few cold ones, and go at it.

    Winter Blues

I generally use the winter down time to fully clean and detail the car, frame, wheelwells, engine, paint, interior. Its almost as enjoyable as driving it, and helps the winter to pass a little quicker. Next year I may just do Greg Good heads and cam over the winter, in which case I will look...

rubber elbows on valve covers-Gen 2

finished the project, took about 15 min total time, biggest pain was taking out the hard tubing, had to remove the IAC, otherwise piece of cake. tomorrow I remove the side sills, clean and wax em, re-install and then she comes down off the jack stands. Cannot wait for spring!

rubber elbows on valve covers-Gen 2

Need to replace the 90 degree rubber elbows coming out of the valve covers on my 01 GTS. I would like to get them asap, anyone had any luck finding these at a local retail store, or do they have to be ordered? I looked a little today, no luck. Didn't think it would be a hard item to find...

    2001 Z06

stock vs stock, you will have no issues, BUT the LS engines are easy and cheap to upgrade, and they run very well when modded.

    Too good to be true?

The hood on the drivers side looks like its resting on the side sill, something just doesn't look right about the car.

small rubber piece on bottom of starter

Thanks Chuck!! It seems to have a small plastic clip to hold it in place, which broke on my part. I ended up putting a dab of RTV on it and re-installing. Next time I am under the car, well have to see if it worked! If not, can that part be purchased, or would I need to buy an entire starter?

    Alpine Stereo install

Not plug and play Redsnake, just went through this last fall. I tried to do it myself, ended up taking it to a pro, had him add alpine sub, alpine amp, alpine speakers, yada yada yada. I spent 5 times more than I set out to, but it was well worth it.

small rubber piece on bottom of starter

yup, thats the piece I am referring to. I suspected it was a drain of somesort, just didn't know if I could drive the car in the rain without it. I may just put a dab of RTV on it, put in back on the starter and call it a day.

small rubber piece on bottom of starter

Can someone tell me what the small 1" rubber piece on the bottom of the start is? I knocked it off, and the plastic clips that hold it in seem broken. Do I need it and if so, can it be purchased?? Thanks all, martyb
