The car you looked at may have a Mopar hard top. That is a good thing. Mopar tops on Gen I cars would ONLY fit if you removed the sport bar pad.
Sound: Question is, does it have cats? Removing cats on a Gen I will make it sound much louder/deeper even with mufflers.
Additionally: If you do...
If your present battery lasted 8 years I would stay with the same -- that's a loooong time for a battery to last :2tu:
You're right about the Platinum; it won't fit due to the top posts.
Good luck!
Hello Jeffsss,
I see your problem. The clip you are posting is not for your car- even though it may be the part number listed by Chrysler.
I will provide you with the proper part number when I get to the shop tomorrow morning or later today. :drive:
Best regards,
Doug
Same here, but seems most prominent on the 2002 Coupes, at least for us.
Since the parts were being more difficult to obtain from Dodge we just started to repair them and with good results. Feel free to call me and I will explain to you how it's done-- you can do it yourself.
Btw.., Will @...
Hello DrumrBoy,
If you were running an extremely high compression engine then I would suggest tightening the gap on your spark plugs. A bad spark plug, bad wire or something else, perhaps fuel related could cause your problem(s). But if your factory coil is in good condition it should have no...
So, the weather looked great and after all the record rainfall we had I decided to take a ride in the Viper.
I removed the car cover, lifted the hood and this little creature was as shocked ;) as I was to glance at each other dead in the eyes. He didn't run, he just sat there and didn't know...
For us, It's always been a good & positive experience dealing with VPA. Our parts always arrive on, or around the time as expected. I'm sure VPA outsources the tires as needed so I presume they are at the mercy of the supplier- we deal with this routinely as well (not from VPA).
Rest assured...
Hello Carlos,
That is not a tensioner itself, it's a tensioner assist. They are made by hand and take more time to construct than you may think. Other than the thrust block, it is NOT a converted Paxton tool. The rod is made out of grade 5 cad plated all-thread, the ends are welded stainless...
Hello Craig,
Sorry to read about your unfortunate circumstances. Please consider visiting our facility sometime soon so I may introduce myself and offer my assistance to help you. I service Dodge Vipers everyday and know what to look for during a brief inspection.
Hope to hear from you...
It appears you are using the wrong part- the part listing and selling dealer are incorrect. The actual part is a "clip," not the cage. I'll see if I can dig up the correct part number for you....
Best regards,
Doug
