    New Car - Oil Pan Leak

    I went in for my first oil change on my 02 RT/10, with 432 miles on it. The oil pan screws were wet with oil, and there was some staining on the bottom of the pan. Does anyone know why this would happen to a brand new car?

    Has the quantity of oil, for an engine oil change with filter, always been 10 quarts with a filter for all model years? Also, has this quantity (10 quarts) ever exceeded the max. fill line on the dipstick for certain cars? Thanks.

    Rear ride height

    My 97 GTS (God bless its soul) had the same condition. Always irritated me when I looked at it from the driveway. My 02 RT/10 doesn't have the problem.     Here is an idea....I think you can get better numbers on the dyno by applying instant power at the start of the test. F-in nail it!!!     Just purchased a new 02 RT/10. The GTS is gone, but I have the 335's I purchased from Jon B. If interested, they are $249 ea. I have two 275 Mxx3's with about 60-70% rubber, and I'll include those with the 335s at no cost. I hope this post is appropriate for this forum. Thanks.
