    Great race! To go from Pole Position to last place because of Gentilozzi's blatant hit (what a whining baby that Gentilozzi is, he called his black flag pit a mystery stop) and then all the way back up the field to win. Congrats to Archer! PS. Even if it is an 8 cylinder Viper he's driving!

    Re: Maro\'s,Stangs and Birds... I usually just give them a little tire spin or something but don't all out race them. They know they won't win but like ViperHopeful said, they are satisfied that you acknowledged them and gave them a little show. That avoids the race but makes everyone happy.

    I'm one of those guys Brian mentions using the 315/35/17 on my stock 335 rims for drag racing. No problems at all in a straight line on the drag. Whatever you do though, don't go fast into corners with this set up. It's brutal! It's definitely the cheapest setup to net you some pretty good...

    Viper Reliability?

    Had European sports cars prior to the Viper. Had a Porsche 911 Turbo and a Mercedes. Viper has been by far the most reliable. Porsche was good, Mercedes was horrendous! It's really nice to know I can go to the garage, start the Viper and plan a 2000 mile trip without planning the service...

    Problem with my Viper

    I had similar symptoms too when a spark plug wire fell off the plug. Running on 9 cylinders exhibits the same problems. Simple and probably not your problem but worth the check.

    Last time out I used drag radials that fit my 17 inch wheels. I'm wondering what slicks (Purner?) fit on what wheels that have the same bolt pattern as a Viper. Make, model/part number as well as rough price would be appreciated.

    I'll start, my 94 RT/10 had 6,000 when I bought it last year (it was stored for many years) but it has about 14,000 now since I got it.
