    I have it in my 01 as well. Usually when I only have the fan on low or if it's real humid outside. A bit unexpected but I don't think anything it wrong as long as the air coming out of the vent is cool.

    Window Tinting

    If you're wanting it to help keep the car cool I'd say get it on rear and sides. Also be sure not to get just privacy tent. Most tint that comes standard on cars these days does nothing to prevent UV rays or help keep the car cooler, they just make the windows harder to see in.

    ABS obviously helps your average/good driver but isn't it true that some one who is really skilled can get a non ABS car to stop faster then some one who just slams on the breaks and relys on the ABS? Seems to me the question isn't so much as the ABS vs non ABS but driver and supsension setup...

    Doesn't Octain rating relate to the amount of compression the fuel can tolerate before igniting on it's own? And that 105 octain really doesn't give you any performance improvement unless your engine has a high compression ratio and actually needs 105 octain?

    Front license plate in Texas?

    not having a front plate has never been an issue with the state inspection. The exhaust would depend on who is doing the inspection. Although all they actually do is just check the computer error codes so if you get a modified chip you don't even have to worry about failing that test.

    unlocking viper?

    I've also had problems with the contacts in my remote. The battery is good but the electrical contact isn't making contact. I just had to pop open the remote and bend the contact a little. Put the remote back together and all is good.

    Thanks for the info. I should of relaized there'd a second valve that dumped the vacuum. Thanks for the info though, always nice to get a better understanding of how things work.
