can we make this thread a sticky so I know where to look to avoid all the beater vipers. Just kidding. glad to know that these awesome cars are being enjoyed.
I went by Zona Rosa around 6:15 and the Vipers had not arrived yet. My Grand Daughter fell asleep so I took her home. Pretty sad to miss my chance to see them. Well my daughter actually got home on time at 7:30pm and I rushed over to see if they were there. Sure enough the vipers were there...
No intention on dumping the vette. bought it for a daily driver. twice the gas milage of my Dodge 4x4 truck (truck gets about 14 highway/city combined and the vette gets about 26-28. I will get a viper as my next car and then I will have my dream car and a nice daily driver.
Sir, I would love to but I am making double payments on my truck. paid off next month and double payments on my vette. 11 more double payments to go. after that no bills other than relatively inexpensive house payment and THEN I can get my viper.
thanks very much for this post. when I get in a position to buy one I have narrowed it down to basically two choices. A 1st gen or an early 3rd gen 2004-2006. I love the look of the first gen the most with the exception of the new ACR's ( they are not in my price range). It was a first gen...
Thanks for the replies. Already got a spot in the garage for it. I really like the vette but still WANT the Viper even more now. I am sure I will use the vette as a nice weather daily driver and a Viper as a weekend fun toy.
HI, glad you let me hang out here and keep my Viper dream alive. I made a decision last year and bought a 2007 Vette instead of waiting on getting my dream car a Viper. I will have it paid off next year and then I can get ready for a Viper. I got a great deal on it and could not pass it up...
I do not feel bad for him. Hopefully he sent out a message to all others who try to BS on the internet. sometimes you get called out. he is the example for all of those people.

make sure you get checked by a good doctor. sometimes it takes a couple of days for an injury to come to the surface. I hope you are OK and I hate people who drink and drive. Hope they catch the person.
very cool. I have a hemi Rumblebee and have been waiting for someone to be able to tune the hemi. seams like there was almost no true tuning kits for the hemi. Does this mean you CAN actually tune our HEMI trucks and cars now? what are you using to do this?
very sorry you had to go through this. If you DO need to store a Viper or two, You can use my garage for free sir. Just kidding but I am sad any one or any business has to deal with people with no respect for others property.
thanks Ray. Vipers are amazing. I am positive that the viper cuts through the air way better than my TA did. I am sure in a 2 mile run the viper would hit 190+. I do not think there would be much difference between the 3.42's I had and the 3.55's. I tried 6th gear and the TA died so my 188 was...
can I ask if you had a little more distance what top speed do you think you would hit? I had a 2001 Trans Am that made a little over 500 hp and I had 3.42 gears. I got the Granatelli 200mph speedometer put in it because I kept burying the 155mph speedo. I found a "private" section of road...
OK, I read through the 6 pages and no one posted that he red lighted on his record run so it does not count if it was a race!
JUST KIDDING. congrats on all of the awesome runs.
I would love to just have a chance to watch you run any of your cars.
Amazing driver.
I asked that same question last year.
