Seems a little spendy, but what isn't for this car?
The curb on my driveway and the front end of the Viper are not getting along too well. I have tried approaching/backing out at angles, but it doesn't seem to help much.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Gary,
Just sent you an email. Very reasonable rate, actually cheaper than what I paid to Horseless Carraige.
Thanks everyone for all the comments. Looks like I will soon be another satsified Gary Almond customer!
Have already emailed Gary. I thought there was also a gentleman out of Seattle that did transports. Maybe one of the NW guys will mention him.
I went with DAS a few years ago to transport my ZR1. I did not like the fact that they take the car to different distribution centers and will move...
As my title states, I need to transport my Viper from Seattle to El Paso. Last time I used Horseless Carriage and was extremely dissapointed. This time around I would like to go with someone with more of a personal touch, not a big company. I am not in a big rush, don't need the car down here...
Thanks Mikey, good luck to you to if you have Scott working at your store.
Give me a call sometime so we can talk about that supercharger, I would love to know what it is like.
I appreciate the honesty, nothing I hate more than fluff. I do own the car outright, so no worries there, but the insurance I was quoted was no higher than in Washington State.
I believe the road you are speaking of is Trans-Mountain. I have been on it once and I could see how it would be...
I agree with the heat, it is not so bad. Last week I had to go to Corpus Christi on business and that was rough. The humidity of Southern Texas was intense.
I am building on the east side. We looked at probably 30 homes on the west side, but the build quality was all pretty poor. Of...
A work opportunity brought me here, believe me I would never choose this place on my own. I actually don't have the Viper down here yet. My wife and I are building a house and staying in a corporate apartment right now. I was just wondering how the car did in the heat and how often cars were...
Just moved into the El Paso area and was wondering if there were other Vipers in the area. Also curious if anyone has any problems with the heat.
Thanks
Was curious as to how many people have had good results with this and if anyone with similar mods to mine have had any dyno results. VERY interested in getting this done.

I had the same problem occur a few weeks ago. I went to get out of my car and nothing happened. This happened while I was on a ferry, so I just rode the 20 minute ferry ride and right before we got off I tried again and it worked. Has worked perfectly ever since, but makes me nervous...
I believe that they only allow warm air to come out of the lower vents due to some study that found people were more likely to fall asleep at the wheel with warm air blowing in their face. I know I have had cars in the past that do the same thing.
Perfect explanation on how HF cats smell. I have been trying to figure out a way to explain it to others and this is excellent. I am hoping the smell will go away over time.
Shall do Dave. I always thought that car looked very nice. I used to be into RX-7's quite a bit. Before the Viper I had a 3rd Gen single turbo that put down over 450rwhp. Great fun, but severly lacked in the torque department.
Dave,
I was in school at the same time as you then, 93-98. I'm pretty sure I know who you are now. Blonde hair and used to drive a white 10th anniversary RX-7? I don't think we ever hung out, but I do remember talking to you a couple of times.

I wish I could say I only spent a week at STLCRAP. I hated that place more than life itself. I know I would have never graduated from there if it wasn't for the fraternity I joined.
NascarDave, I assume your dad is Dr. Naeger. When I was in school his class was at 8:00 am, so if it wasn't an...
Thanks for the advice everyone. I have family coming into town next week and I am sure the hood is going to be up and down numerous times. I now won't worry quite so much about apply pressure to the hood. I can just picture my hands going right through it.
