Need damaged Gen 1 center cap

Hoping to find a Gen 1 center cap and it doesn't need to be in good shape. It can be pretty trashed aesthetically. I want to scavenge 2+ of the retaining clips (on the back side) that hold the cap in place. Found 2 missing on ours. Also if anyone has handled this problem previously, what did...

    driving gen 1's - impressions....

GEN 1 no question about it. After we narrowed it down and were starting to look for one to buy, my husband said "you know it doesn't have windows, or a real top?" I was stunned "your joking, right?" But drive one around you'll see if you want a car for the pure joy of driving, a real car...

    VCA at Carlisle 2010

Thank you for the info, we went last year and wandered over to the Viper section to enjoy the cars. The question this year is do we bring both of our cars or not? CICCI, the Crossfire Club, has a full weekend of events ...cars, dinning out, refreshments, old friends and more refreshments!

    Issues with supplier, R & J Distributing

For what it's worth, we wanted black emblems. We exchanged emails with R&J Distributing about our concerns after reading the comments here. The responses were quick and professional. We were assured there would not be a restocking fee(of $150 on a $150 item) The owner was not in town but...

    Viper Coffee Mug????

I made one Viper mug for the hubby. Any suggestions how to sell them to members without legal problems? I do all the work as it's my business. (He's a lefty so the handle is on the WRONG side....as all of us "righties" know) The other side has a picture of a viper hissing out the word...

Socket for security lug nuts Cracked

Update: Tried locating the manufacture without success. Had a fellow put a brass sleeve on the socket, it was a tight fit so much so it also started to crack; it will never come off. But the threads are stripped enough that the sleeve held but the threads let it spin around. So I mashed a...

Anybody move from 17" to 18" wheels for tire cost and availability; not appearance?

Re: Anybody move from 17" to 18" wheels for tire cost and availability; not appearanc Jon, Is that price still good ("We have FOUR 17" new tires for under $800/set DELIVERED!) for all 4 tires on a 1995 Gen1? Can you PM me a quote? Thanks, Gary

Socket for security lug nuts Cracked

The last tire to be removed is the one with this problem. Excellent ideas, working on them now, didn't want to take the car off the jack stands if I can avoid it, as I had already put it away (plate/insurance changes made) for the winter.

Socket for security lug nuts Cracked

Purchased car Sept, first time remove wheels. The socket for the security/locking lug nuts has begun to crack and also looks like it has stripped some as well. It still fits onto a nut but any more use and it will crack completely apart. I've asked the previous owner if he has any manufacture...

    Garages

01ACR/Viper you make me feel so much better about our garage. Yours is large, it's got plenty of potential. Ours is not wide enough to get at anything easily. We need to get a 4 poster hoist, any suggestions/advice on that subject?

    New car repair questions please

follow up: both master and slave cylinders have been replace, we have a clutch now, comes in handy. Then it would act like it was going to stall when shifting in the higher gears. Gary put in a new IAC and gave it time to relearn it's idle. He tinkered with other tester results, I steered...

    Luggage for our Vipers

This Company worked with the Crossfire club to set up a group discount for us. The quality was very good. I didn't see any Viper sets on their site though. If your interested call them they were good to work with. Home - Roadsterbag Convertible Cases

topless and wet in so. fla.

"750 GPH cartridge bilge pumps. Getting the pumps was expensive because it would have needed a higher amperage alternator and the auto discharge valve" :lmao: As the new owners of a 95 RT/10 we feel your pain. Bought it 3 weeks ago, drove home from North Carolina, it rained/monsooned on...
