They are not designed to accept the TPM sensors. It was also recommended not to strap the sensors to the wheel center as that creates an issue with balancing and the possibility of the sensor coming loose.
I just didn't install them. I get a Low Pressure warning on startup, but that is it...
Yes, they can be removed. Once the tire is off the wheel, just remove the large nut from the outside and then pull the sensor/stem out from the inside.
Snakesonaplane: Thanks. You'll be in around $4800+/- for the set depending on who you go through.
Jim: Yes, it is a fairly new wheel. I purchased these through Ryan Woon (www.wotm.com) and his pricing was great.
I'm sure full polish would look great, but I was trying for a different look.
Thanks sportsdude.
Big thanks to Austin for the photoshopping. Austin came up with this along with a few other ideas as well.
Thanks to all that like the brushed center. The other feedback from the "other" site has a strong feeling on body color matched center. Photoshop is in the works and that may a decent option as well.
i think it looks terrible, and seeing how much of a nice guy i am, i will take them off your hands right now! just go ahead and ship those bad boys to me! :headbang: :2tu: :nana:
What a guy! :D
Appreciate the positive feedback. They are 19" fronts and 20" rears with Michelin PS2 275/30/19 and 335/30/20, which at this point in time is the only readily available tire for the rear.
They are the same style wheel as Bat's GTS, but the Gen III's cannot run that deep of a lip because of...
My new wheels arrived and I'm not sure whether I like them yet.
Aside from the fact that the car needs to be lowered (suspension on order), let's hear some honest opinions.
Re: What tire for 20
Good luck obtaining the Pirelli 345/25/20 tires! According to what I've been told, they are backordered for at least 120 days. The Pirelli 335/30/20 are about 45 days backordered, which pretty much leaves the Michelin PS2 in 335/30/20.
If I had known of this problem in...
At first I assumed air in the system, which is why I tried to bleed the system first. Let me tell you I bled all the old fluid out in an attempt to not have to change any components! Didn't change a thing!
Since the problem I had resided in the pedal, my first analysis was the clutch master...
My 06 Coupe did the same exact thing from when I received with 7 miles on the car.
I bled the whole system in an attempt to fix the problem, but that wasn't the problem.
It is the clutch master cylinder. I replaced it myself because I have zero trust in dealership service departments...
I will be selling my 06 5 Spoke wheels/tires assembly in about 2-3 weeks. I'm waiting for my IForged wheels to arrive before selling my 06 wheels. I currently have 800 miles on the set and will most likely be around 1000 miles by the time I'm ready to sell them.
