    Yes, they can be removed. Once the tire is off the wheel, just remove the large nut from the outside and then pull the sensor/stem out from the inside.

    Thanks to all that like the brushed center. The other feedback from the "other" site has a strong feeling on body color matched center. Photoshop is in the works and that may a decent option as well.
