I'm with Gerald on this one. I'm not conceding anything to the new Z06 until I see a few more side by side comparisons done. I'm sure there will be a lot of them done in the next few months. I'd be willing to bet that the Viper will win a few & the Vette will win a few. No two cars are...
Re: Had car worked on at Tator\'s. It\'s true what they say !
All kidding aside, Chuck & Rob did a great job on my car, pointed out things of interest, and gladly answered all questions. No doubt they are the most knowledgeable Viper techs on the planet and are highly recommended to anyone...
Konstantin,
Start out with a clean bucket & sponge & wash from the top of the car down. I use a sponge type long handled toilet bowl brush to clean inside the wheel wells. I also use a creeper to wash under the front & rear of the car. I use compressed air to blow the water out...
Thanks Chad. Just turned 30,000 miles, 600 of it this weekend. I was late getting to the show so I couldn't enter to be judged I could only display. I would have liked to see how it would have done. Next year I'll get there early.

Re: First time ever! Tech Session at Tator\'s Dodge

Once again,
Bo don't know
At this dyno facility they do not let the car owner do the pull. The dyno operator gets in your car and does it. If I was allowed in the car I wouldn't be so hesitant to have it done. Here's another thing that scares me, they make you sign a release freeing them from any responsibility if...
A local high performance shop in our area is having a dyno day in a few weeks and the owner has invited me to put the Viper on the dyno. I'm a little hesitant because I have heard some horror stories about this. A good friend of mine had his engine blow (start knocking ) while it was on the...
I have a second job that requires me to meet with perspective customers in the evenings when I'm done with my first job. When the weather is nice I take the Viper to these meetings. I have never lost one of these jobs when I drove the Viper. The meeting usually ends with me taking my new client...
I'm afraid I gotta disagree with Joe on this one. Joe said " A Viper is cool, but don't let one give you a slow start in your financial life, put it off. " Jos is retired, and having a Viper when your retired is probably pretty cool, But it dosen't compare to being young or being young and...
Dan,
In 3 years from now who knows where the hell any of us will be and what kind of situations we'll be in. Instead of figuring out ways your going to be able to get a Viper in three years channel all that energy and thinking into figuring out how you can get one now ! Just think you could...
Danfromohio,
Like Chuck said in the second reply on this post "If the man upstairs calls your ticket do you wanna leave this world with a Viper or a bank account." If you want a Viper buy one now ! Life is too short, get out and enjoy it now !! You never know how long you're going to be...
Hey Big Medicine
It sounds like you may have paid more in taxes last year than I made all year ! Kwitcherbichn, I wish I had that problem !! LOL !!

I'm a single guy, own my own home and a Viper. I work my butt off trying to make ends meet and will do what ever I have to do to keep my car. With the car payments, insurance, up keep, maintanence, improvements, and the rising cost of gas it's getting tough ! I read a lot of posts about guys who...
Andrew,
The suspension will certainly feel stiffer when have the shocks adjusted to the stiffest position but I don't think it will bother your sunday drives at all. Usually most people don't drive Vipers on roads that are very bumpy or in disrepair. Also, it's a sports car with a sport...
The rear wheels hopped so bad it also shook the shifter. If your not sure the wheels are hopping just have someone watch them when you do a burn out. It will be very obvious. If your shocks are just adjusted to a stiff setting and you still get wheel hop adjust them to the stiffest setting. Tthe...
Andrew,
I had a bad wheel hop problem also. I got rid of about 75 percent of it by taking the rear shocks apart and adjusting them to the stiffest possible setting. I can now do burn outs without the embarrassing wheel hop. Try it, I'm sure it will help!

There are A LOT of Viper owners in the NY NJ CN & PA area, has there ever been one even close to us ??? Whats fair is fair. How about having one close to us !!!
Bo
I did the same thing you did. After bringing my " cleaned & detailed " Viper home from the dealership I spent 2 days cleaning & detailing it before I showed it to anyone.
