    What controls your idle on the viper?

    Just like mentioned above, clean thottle bodies, synchronize cables. If this does not solve the problem, turn the set screws on the throttle bodies 3/8 to 1/2 turn. I had to remove the throttle bodies to adjust mine. This solved my idle stumbling and low idle problem. :usa:

    Gen I Head Tourque specification???

    The service manual states that head bolts on a Gen I should be tourqued to 30 pounds then 1/4 turn. Can this be true? 30 pounds seems very low for head bolts. Can anyone either confirm or correct this specification? :usa:

    Benefits of a 180 degree thermostat????

    Gen I service manual indicates that to change the thermostat which is on the rear of the engine, remove the wipers and cowl to gain access. Nothing mentioned about having to remove the intake manifold. :usa:
