Oh, I too was dreaming when I raced a Suzuki GSX R1000 from 50-150 Yesterday.
He drifted slowly from my door to a nice view of my tail lights.
But that could not have happened either.

Trust me on this one. When I sheared my cam pin, we did not want to take the whole motor out and put it on a stand.
It was a pretty tight squeeze, but the cam will just clear.

Are you sure? I know the Mopar performance heads will fit.
But I was told that the GTSR castings would not work.
But, I defer to you. You certainly have the knowledge.
As for the castings. Please continue to look. I was under the assumption you and I were talking about the Mopar...

Thanks for calling me on that. As I dig back into my memory banks, I did determine that I called it wrong. I bent the Valves when my Cam pin sheared. Sorry about that. I have had the motor apart several times. They seem to all run together.

You do not have to use HMS for anything. Do you have a Superman Complex? Do you feel you need to save the world? This topic has been beaten to death on the Forum - long before you arrived on the scene. Do a search and entertain yourself with the results.
Also, like the bold type....
The balancer is pressed on. It is an interference fit.
Take it from someone who knows(me)- spinning the balancer is a VERY bad thing. To the tune of 15 bent Valves.....
As for keying it in the car...IF you are creative, it can be done. I would still prefer to do it removes!

Agreed on the MPH thing....I find that number much more impressive. All my racing is from a roll anyway.
Doug's car is in the same league as the Venom TT. But how many other cars have trapped over 150? Any? None that I know of.
MPH all comes down to horsepower. What I would like to see is...
Just to add a comment - I do not know of too many Vipers that can match the Venom TT.
The last 1/4 run was in the 9's at over 150.
The last Dyno run was over 1000RWHP WITHOUT NOS!
