Regarding COD
Ive sent items UPS COD and have had the recipient stop payment on the check and I was SOL...
Sure I could probably hunt them down and sue them or something, but be careful.
Cheers,
My 2 cents:
To anybody sitting on the fence regarding buying a lift, I am here to say once you have one you will wonder how you ever got along without it...
Ive only had mine installed (Rotary) for a month and am LOVING it so far... :2tu:
Good Luck on your group buy... :-)
Cheers,
Looking good!!
Regarding the opener....
If you raise the track up to the ceiling, will it be high enough?....You'll probably need about 9 1/2 to 10 feet to stack a Viper and a "regular" car, you mentioned to have 9' 8" so you are right there, maybe just cut a small hole in the ceiling for...
Hey Jimster,
What are you considering "running a little hot"??
You know "normal" is around 3/4 up on the gauge or higher....It used to bug me until I found that out......
On the earlier cars, 92/93 they had a yellow area on the guage and people used to freak out when the temp got in the...
Steves right.....have all your ducks in a row when the truck arrives...offer the driver a drink and tip him, and you and a couple buddies could get it on the ground in 10 minutes easy...Most drivers wont mind....
Also you could buy a set of those "car dollies" from harbor frieght for $40.00...
Do the alignment....That made a huge difference on my 94....
Then I went and put 315's on the front...that made it a little "dartier"
I think most any Viper is a "hands on the wheel" type of ride...No steering with your knee while trying to eat a Big Mac and fries...
Cheers,
That's how the guys unloaded my lift...
They started with 3 guys and unloaded it piece by piece...then used "dollys" to roll the heavy stuff down the driveway.....The when they started to assemble it, only 2 guys stayed and managed easily......FYI: I also think the Revolution lift is heavier...
Not to hi-jack this but....
FYI: I just had installed, my Revolution Lift I bought from
that group buy last March, and am loving it so far......
Seems very sturdy without being bolted down...
I also live in Earthquake country and was trying to decide to bolt or not and have decided I would...
Welcome!!!
Hood Gap??? Been there, done that...
Like steel said, do a search and there is all kinds of info on that...Including my thread regarding the hood gap issue I had...

I got to drive a CTS-V at Fontana (Cal. Speedway) Very nice car..
Cheers,
Thanks Fred....
So its best to run the air system in a loop to keep the pressure the same??.....That's a good tip...I wouldnt have thought of that...
I am just thinking of 2 or three outlets on the walls, and one in the ceiling for my reel hose...
Cheers,
Thanks to all for the great ideas and the kind words...
I passed "final" inspection and am having the lift installed on 11/8/2005...Then the next day the driveway is being torn out, and a new bigger concrete driveway is being poured....THEN I should be just about done.....Just have to install...
