    My Viper lost 50lbs with a tire / wheel change

    The run flats are almost 10 pounds per tire heavier than non-run flats! I was looking at run flats for my gen II on tire rack and looked at the specs and weight, i didn't realize the run flats were that much heavier! Of course i went with the non-run flats.

    They are a 5 inch lip, and liked the dark finish the best, I almost went with polished but i didn't want too much bling, if you know what i mean. I think the dark finish gives the car an even racier look than it already has. Just my opinion.

    Name that pulley....

    I would guess that it is the serp belt tensioner, i had the same thing happen to my 96 gts, the plastic pulley broke loose from the tensioner. If my memory serves me right i had to take the alternator loose to change it but it was pretty simple.

    Left my lights on, now car wont start?

    Try disconnecting the positive cable under the hood for 30 seconds to a minute and then reinstall the cable, then try and restart. My 96 gts did this once and that is the only way i was able to get it out of theft mode

    HELP! Car stereo/subwoofer question

    You have to take the whole dash panel out to to get to the radio on a 96 GTS so i sure you have to do the same, and if you have a voltmeter i would check to see if you are still getting 12v on the wire after startup.
