    I have run kumhos at around 20 to 22 psi, 3 to 4 sec burnout, depends on the track though, i have run 2.0 60' launching at 2500 rpm at some tracks and, i have run 1.7 60' launching at 4000 rpm, i do not suggest launching at 4000 unless car is hooking up, that particular day i was not spinning at...

    My first race!!

    Shift at 5500 rpm, I have tried it a 6000 and you can sometimes stay in third depending on how good of traction you get off the line. But you loose a lot of hp and tq b/w 5500 and 6000 rpm. I switched to shifting at 5500 and improved my times greatly. Good Luck!

    Back from Atlanta Dragway with a new best 1/4 mile time! r/t .657 60' 1.982 330 5.184 1/8 7.802 mph 95.33 1000 10.032 1/4 11.906 mph 120.17 Hoping for 11.80s but track was pretty slick, but i'm still happy because with a 1.7 60' i am easily in the 11.70s.

    Year One does have the track from 9 to 12 for thier use only, $5 to enter car show at Year One and $10 to race (test and tune) at commerce. Must buy race tickets at Year One saturday during the car show.

    There is a car show being held at Year One this sat. the 17th from 4p.m. to 9p.m. open to all cars, b/w 8 and 9p.m. a caravan will leave there to go to Atlanta dragway. The track will be open till twelve. $10 for car show and drag racing. Ill be there im my 96 GTS and will hopefully top my best...

    Just got back from the Mopar Southern Nationals at silver dollar raceway in Reynolds GA. Finally got my 96 GTS in the 11s. 60' 1.702 330 4.982 1/8 7.689 mph 88.58 1000 10.012 1/4 11.969 mph 112.68 only wierd thing is that lower my time the slow my mph. Ran several 12.1 and 12.0 at 114 today...

    B&M Ripper Shifter ?

    i had a b&m in mine and the gears were a lot tighter, but wasnt to impressed with the shifter itself. Mopar performance has just released a hurst shifter for the viper, you might want to check it out. You can see a pic at Mopartsracing.com.
