Re: Are you running a wideband? Is it necessary with a N/A engine, or mainly just FI
Here's my setup. Boost and fuel pressure on the pillar, wideband on the column. I personally don't see the need for a wideband on an NA car once the tune is set unless you just want to be extra precautious.
It seems the air itself is fairly cool/cold but the system just doesnt move that much air. In my dd 05 vette(and just about every other car) it blows MUCH harder
Cool thank you. If I have one of those infrared thermometer, what wouldi point it at to verify the gauge is also functioning correctly?
I've done 3 cycles of driving so far
Well I pulled the harness out and extended all the wires by about 10" running the new wire in between the body and door. Everything for the door is now functioning as it should and ideally now that it's new extended wiring I shouldn't have any issue
So I didn't do bad, but I did bad lol. I'll head out now to get a cycle in before going to breakfast with the gas parents. Thank you for helping so far
I just checked the facia bottle and it's still at the half way mark? So it seems it didn't suck in coolant from there? The pressure bottle is still also full?
Well I was able to drive it the other day with the ad on without a problem and it stayed cool the entire time. Went to take it out today, checked the overflow tank and the coolant was in between the two hash marks. Took it out tonight on a cooler night with ad running and the first 15 miles it...
So it appears that a couple of my wires in between the body and the door have become cut and need to be reconnected which seems to be a common problem. So are you guys just reconnecting the wires ( which seems would just have the same problem later) or splicing in new wiring? Also how do you...
So I think my issue was the lines going from the pressure bottle to the overflow. The rubber hose comming out of the pressure bottle going to the hard line (that goes to the overflow) was allowing air to be sucked into the system causing air pockets and puking of coolant. I clamped the rubber...
Swapped mine out in about 45 minutes, including trip to autozone. I went from the top with a small ratchet and deep socket 10mm. Someone swapped one of the o rings before but didn't do the other, when I used a flat head screw driver to pull the old o ring off it just broke. Well see how long...
Steve,
Ill give you a shout next time im out there messing with it...thank you. For reference this is what i see when i look through the peep hole. Excuse the mess it needs to be cleaned
I don't know if the bottle behind the bumper gets moved due to the supercharger kit or if it's just meant to be impossible to read but it's extremly difficult to see through the peep hole.
Hopefully it is the small things the little things... From your advice (and I don't know why I didn't...
