It is your PCV...mine is doing the same thing. You have to pull the intake off to get it.
You need:
PCV vavle
Rubber Gromet
Intake gaskets (2)
I am doing mine tonight.
I am not an expert, but I am sure someone else will chime in. I BELIEVE that you have a fair arguement that your car is worth more then NADA. There are enough experts on this forum that can help you out with that.
What dealer was it that crashed it?

I have a 98 GTS that I am selling. I want $39,500 for it. It is on ebay and autotrader as we speak. Great shape. Needs a set of back tires. I am in Houston so it will give you a good chance to get use to it before you get home :)

Most of the Vipers on ebay do not sell ON the site. A lot of them are negotiated later. I actaully bought mine on ebay a year ago. I wouldn't mind one bit if that happens this time.
Our Viper is actually my wifes. Until we moved to Houston, she drove it to work everyday. She even has been known to show the little mustnag boys a few things.
We bought it for my wife to drive. She let me drive it :)
We are going to get another one, she wants yellow. That will be at the end of the year though.
This guy must be crazy as well. A little bird told me the reserve is set at $40k. Oh wait, that is me and yes the reserve is set at $40k. I was thinking that the reserve was set below what the market is going to bring. Just my opinion. It is one of the cheaper Gen II's on Autotrader and...
He is running it with the outfit from what I understand. I was scheduled to do it, but couldn't come up with the funds. I think there is another one, but I am not certain.
At Pepboys they sell the Freon in a can with a guage. It will tell you when it is full. it cost about $20 and is easy to do. It will only fit on one of the valves.
Make sure the engine is running and the A/C is on when you do it.
I have broken the bracket that holds the driver window for the second time. Does anyone know where I can get one without paying $300 at the dealer for the whole assembly? The little white plastic piece that rides in the rail is what I am looking for.
Thanks!!

I have the Dunlop's. I am about to replace them with some pilots. Only problem I have had with them is keeping them balanced. Other then that, they have been fine. I have a set of road race Hoosiers and autox Kumho's, so I use those in hard driving experience. I got the Dunlops more for...
I have a set of Roadrace Hoosiers mounted on Forge line wheels that I might be willing to sell. They only have one track day on them.
The fronts are 17 x 10 and rears 17 x 12.
Let me know if you are interested.
