is this the right pcv valve?

i orderd it from advance auto parts and it was actually the first thing i ever bought for a viper that was cheap so im wondering if its the correct one

I just tuned mine up and installed a new PCV. Call Chuck. He can tell you in seconds if you have the right one.

I have never known a PCV valve to cost more than $3.99.

PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation [section 9 in the manual]
1999-2002 dose not have a PCV Valve!
1992-1998 PCV #4694335 MSRP $14.00 [must be DC Viper Tax?]

It's just a straight vent system, no valve.

I have a late 98 GTS. I went to change the PCV valve and I have a straight vent system. Why is there a difference?

I have never heard of anyone doing that.

P.S Chuck I may be making an appointment for the end of this month (if you have a spot open) because i gotta start putting some of these mods in and im too dumb to do them myself. jesel rockers,VEC 2,power stearing cooler,msd wires and by then the vipair.
