Spring Cap install help request
Just last weekend I installed lower spring caps from JohnB on my 2000 GTS (non ACR). I have not had the pleasure of meeting Cibolo's finest. Selma on the other hand had to use the lack of my front plate to introduce themselves. Texas1 may know what I mean. :D You betcha! What type of coolant
Tom I would be extremely interested to know what type of coolant each run was in your tests. I recently flushed my Viper and filled it with Zerex G-05 since it is what my Mercedes uses (in fact it is the same color) and supposedly what my BMW uses just dyed blue. Interesting noise I heard today
This thread appears to have gone quite so I hope the OP does not mind if I hijack it. Gen II Fog Lights
Or like mine that had been broken by rocks so they just put a blank cover in place of the lights (which I had never used anyway). ACR's also had the optional fog light deletes, correct?- Bexar80

94 Clutch problem?
I bet the slave cylinder is on the way out. I'm currently replacing the slave cylinder on mine that had similar symptoms. Never had a drop of fluid on the floor either but after I removed the bottom cover the bell housing was damp.- Bexar80

Tranny problem

Tranny problem
I would like to bump this up again since I am currently experiencing the same issue. I have to really force it into gear when I'm stopped but it's easier once I'm moving. I don't think it's related to the clutch since I can depress the pedal in gear, come to a stop and the engine idles fine...- Bexar80

For all you that claim your car runs 180 or 190 ALL THE TIME
I was out the very next day with 100+ weather, a/c on and I was nearly at the next tick mark. I assume that is the 215-ish range. I did notice a service bulletin put out by Dodge regarding a fan reprogram that could be done at the customer's request. Would that have something to do with...- Bexar80

Who has removed the stock cats and mufflers with only the resonators?
My new to me GTS already has straight pipes in lieu of the rear mufflers and I'm weighing the pros and cons of also removing the cats mainly to cut down on the sill heat. I have read what appears to be hearsay that it gets noisy and smelly. Is this fully truth? I should also mention mine is...- Bexar80

There is a steel gray snake in my garage now
Will do. I do notice a slight "pop" sound when I let out the clutch in reverse. It has also done this on a few occasions in first during aggressive starts. Could that be one of the mounts? I also just got the car on jack stands and pulled the tires tonight. I am very impressed with the...- Bexar80

I now have a beautiful 2000 gts setting in my garage. :2tu: I cannot get enough of driving this car, even in the 90+ heat here in San Antonio. Considering purchasing a 2000 steel gray GTS
The car still has the original Alpine head unit but the owner did upgrade the speakers to MTX components keeping the original grills and more importantly the original appearance. I like the idea of the smooth intake tubes as a minor upgrade but I will have to consider the exhaust upgrade...- Bexar80
