    Re: what year viper was the best built The 96 97 &98 99Had same lift and overlap. 541" 542" and 66 degree overlap..the 2000 to 2002 had a 60 degree overlap. The cam grinds on the 96 & 97 were the best I hear.

    They will increase in value... Low production, and lets be honest. Even by todays standards the First generation Vipers still have alot of juice and can hold their own. And the styling... Timeless!!!

    97 GTS Crank Pinning with Garrett

    I would have to think it "could" lossen over time.. Now.. Some might never come lose..The crank isn't keyed, and the way it spins the threads on the Crank Bolt should have been the other way this way this problem would never occur.. I wonder why they did them like that?

    Still 17yrs older and looks sooooo good. And the sound. That 97 sounded great... I like the analog gage layout of the Gen II. The 2013 looks good and I like thw Viper lighting up when you rev it. But that Gen II is Timeless!!!

    WTT Z06 for Viper GTS (1996 & up)

    I know it's a must to own a GTS. Be patient my friend and once you sell your Vette you won't regret getting the Best Supercar Ever!. Do it quicker than ever as right now you can grab a nice GTS for pretty good price. Sell your Vette while it's hot, and you should be able to get good money.
