Trading a 97 RT/10 for a 96 GTS question
i believe there was an oil pan change mid year on the 96 gts which is what the 97 had. not sure what the issues were. for some reason my info says the 96 wheels were cast and the 97 wheels were forged. does this make sense? jasont- dadsvpr

Keeping white wheels clean!? Brake dust :(
the ebcs work nice on my bbs rims, talk about a pain to keep clean! make sure whoever installs them spray paints them black before installing, keeps the stock look. there is dust though it is noticblly diffent (and less of it). it looks more gray than black. i think they are made out of kevlar...- dadsvpr

Red with Silver Stripes or Silver with Blue Stripes?
red is similar to black with showing swirls, dust etc. hard to keep clean. i love my red car but i like the rareness and stealthyness of silver with blue stripes (as if a viper could be stealthy). my $.02. jason- dadsvpr

i'm aware of the piston issue as well as 99 interior updates (trunk latch too). the piston issue is actually referred to correctly at the bottom where the cam info is. there are a number of more updates that will be integrated in the near future. the link is accessable off the VIN information...- dadsvpr

in the mopar muscle car realm koller dodge is a part of history. they were an old time volume dealer of muscle cars if i remember correctly and carry a huge inventory of parts for both performance and restoration of classic muscle. have no idea about there service reputation just there linkage...- dadsvpr

Age of viper owners?
Obviously i'm not 16 cause i'm dadsvpr with 2 little girls. I bought mine at 37. I think it's wonderful you had the the resources and the focus to get a hold of a viper at 19, I certainly didn't. i also understand there are some tactics to work around this. send me an email if you are interested. i'm not sure if its a good idea to post what the work around is (due to it working around the system so to speak), its very easy and makes common sense though. hint, it could impact your track...- dadsvpr

i sent email to corsa on this. they replied that what is critical is to know how far the sound meter is from the car (makes sense). i believe at laguna seca its 50 ft between track edge and listening device. so i guess really what the question should be is what is the loudest the exhasut would...- dadsvpr

Potential new viper owner !!!
