2015 GT prices...
I agree Bill... I'm not so much worried about the car getting stolen etc.. But more like assholes opening the hood and sabotaging things like putting something in the oil refill etc. I'm just thinking worse case scenarios... Even in my dually I have a lockable fuel cap... It's not that I think that people will open it but the thought that it can be easily opened by someone when I've parked it and not around etc... It's a regular parking lot and I'll be away for 8 hours and anyone can do anything in that time frame.- Jdmuscle

Any thoughts on the hood release lock? Once I get the car I'll be taking it to work from time to time and was wondering if there is a way to secure the hood from being opened? I know only people that know this car will know where to find the latch but the thought that it's out there for anyone...- Jdmuscle

One quick question for the viper veterans.... I'd like to take the car to work from time to time... How do you guys deal with the fact that anyone that knows vipers can open the hood etc? Are there any ways to lock it etc?- Jdmuscle

Nsane, I couldn't agree with you more. I'm very much used to that type of negative attention to the car. It's just that my Supra and my Harley are white and I'd like to match them... The price they offered was for ordering a white one the way I wanted but I think if I take the Orange base one they have it might be cheaper. Now I'm debating if I should take the one off the floor.... Or wait for a white one. From seeing the responses here, it seems that an invoice deal on a 15...- Jdmuscle

When I say I see 79k deals, I'm talking about people reporting it on the forums and for me to buy. If the dealer had offered me that price I would be owning one now but the best offer I got was as I stated 85.7k on a white one. 2015 GT prices...
One of the local dealers called today and offered a 'at invoice' deal.. Around 85.7k plus taxes on a 91k msrp car. That's a base model with the plus Blk wheels. That's around 5300 discount. I think that's decent but I see 79k deals around here and makes me wonder how is that possible???- Jdmuscle

SRT Exclusive Dealership / Service - It's Time
Salesperson that has no passion for cars should not sell these cars.... It'll only make SRT look bad... I've been to two different showrooms and it was sad how things were handled. Holdback is something that the manufacturer gives to the dealers for every car.. And it varies depending on the car model and equipment etc. I believe that is around 3200 for this car... Some dealers give that up to sell a car and some don't even neg. the holdback. MSRP is the suggested price...- Jdmuscle

I was under the assumption that these cars sit at the dealership prolonged periods.. Hence slowing down the production etc. Are the 15s moving out quicker than the 14s? I hear stories of cars sitting for a year at dealerships etc... So I'm ideally looking for a base model or a GT in white...- Jdmuscle

So on a 91k car you expect to pay invoice minus holdback? If there is 6k cushion to the invoice and taking the holdback will bring it to around 83k? I really was thinking there was more room on these cars given that they sit at the dealership a long time...- Jdmuscle
