Nah dude, that middle pic is the drivers side rear. You can see the battery box, the exaust coming from under the rocker panel and the position of the caliper. It's going the wrong direction
The only benefit I hoped to get is looks because I paid almost the same for the new box as I would have for smooth tubes and a K&N... maybe the design of the box is slightly more forcefull at directing the air... maybe not.

As far as fit on the radiator bolts, I know why your...
Do you guys wax the hood springs? I had mine disassembled and powder coated. I also had the engine removed and coated with a high heat epoxy resin along with most metal parts. All you have to do is hose it off with spot-free water
Th car has 60,000 miles. I drive it every day it doesn't snow.
Awesome idea. I was thinking about chalk or something. I'll have to beat up some kid in the neighborhood adn steal their playdough!
I took some pictures since this doesn't seem to be a terribly common install.
Gentlemen, thanks for the posts. It did rub on the hood brace bolts and put a small scratch but appears to fit snugly now that it's all in.
The good closes without any extra pressure but I'm wondering if it's rubbing. The hood gaps on the bumper and around the lights were always bad, but...
eBay Motors: Dodge Viper Carbon Fiber Air Box Intake Gen 2 GTS RT-10 (item 310021434717 end time Feb-10-08 10:24:19 PST)
I bought it for $200, seems like a good deal since a K&N is $45 and smooth tubes would have been $75 - 100. I figured I'd get a good looking airbox to boot.
I have no...
Seriously? I debated an '06 Z06 or a Gen II viper knowing the Z06 would out perform the Viper but that the viper over time would remain a more legendary car... But an '03 C5 Z06 Vs. a viper is no contest.
I got rid of a V12 Benz to get the Viper. One of the reasons was simplicity of build...
I've used the Griots stuff as well. It works well. The other idvice I'd give is to make sure to mask so you get good clean lines to peal and avoid overspray because it's kind og a pain to get all of the little dots off.
I agree with thick application.

All great recommendations. The car does have new tires (supposedly). They seem pretty gummy.
I will be changing the intake and exhaust, but that's probably it for a while.
I'll Join the VCA soon.
I'm trying to see if there is anything to the comment in the add that it...
I appreciate all of the compliments... Yes, a really own the car. I have included some lousy picture phone pics of it at my buddies apartment because it's all I have. No, I'm neither of the dudes in the picture.
The dealer was great. I over paid by probably 3 grand over what the total deal...
Anyone know anything about it? Hopefully I'm not setting myself up for some bad news!
Just wondering if there is any interesting history.
