    My late year '96 did not have them. The die cut ones are really expensive- I bought a roll of 3M protective film & applied it down low back to the "bulge". They are gonna get beat up or bent eventually anyway. The book shows only $123 for repaints.

    Drag radials & stock half-shafts

    Ben, My experience w/the BFG drags is below 2500-3000 lauch I would bog or wheel hop. I even run them at 25-30psi. it lauches as smooth as an automatic at 3000! 0-60's of 1.80. 11.7@120 w/just Borla's/K&N. Stock shafts, just got in some Unitrax safety loops. Put some whup-gAss on him! MW

    I thought the big advantage to the n2o/pro was it's gas form when injected into the Viper manifold. What do you mean by "liquid" system, as they are both liq. in the bottle?

    <FONT COLOR="Blue">Totally agree w/the time req. to install the NOS 5180 kit. (dry system w/electronic fuel enrichment). But it seems to be a "safe" system w/ the 36 jets for the GTS. (40jets for the RT/10 92-95 w/OBD 1st gen). My air/fuel ratio monitor does show a step leaner w/ N2O activated...

    Anybody tried the BF Goodrich G-force T/A R-1s for drags?

    BFG drags on 10" Viper front wheels(used on rear!) is a big improvement and the least costly and safe (easier on driveline) .

    <FONT COLOR="Blue">Low rpm launches resulted in unpredictable wheel hop for me. with BFG drags at 30psi they like 2500-3000, I suppose it lets them break loose a little bt still a nice smooth leave. A 1000-1500 it must be trying to grab and wheels hops-not a good feeling!</FONT c>

    <FONT COLOR="Blue">What u-joints do the Unitrax come with?</FONT c> Might it be adequate to upgrade the stock Spicers (if a better one is availale?) if that is what breaks most of the time? (stock shafts-2500rpm leave-1.8 0-60, BFG drag rads at 30psi-no problems)
