Melting Gen 1 Headlight Switch...

Melting Gen 1 Headlight Switch...
I just had mine replaced. $350 parts and labor at a stealership just so I could get it back on the road. The switch is actually a $20 part from autozone ($180 at the dealership). But I couldn't find a replacement part for the female connector, so I took it to the dealership. A bad ground...- Kiaser

Ways to make engine run cooler
Thermostat will only cool better on highway traveling. It's not the most efficient way to attack heat. Burping the system is your best bet for an inexpensive fix, any trapped air will raise temperature dramatically. Roe hoses are fairly cheap, look good, and make it a breeze to burp...- Kiaser

Went to the dealer today, and guy tried to sell me a 2000 RT/10
I'd vote for incompetent over crooked on this case because if you're gonna spout off "1 in 10 facts" to try to sale the car you MIGHT wanna hold off on saying said "facts" to a Viper owner and instead save it for the other consumers. He straight up saw you get out of a 2000 RT/10 and still...- Kiaser

viper won't start
Re: viper won\'t start If you cut the posts on the optima it could be in bad shape. A battery can cause all sorts of hell on a Viper, even when the battery "seems" to be ok. It's the first thing I'd consider replacing (or at least swap it for something just to test).- Kiaser

Pics please of Sub mounting location in an rt10
If you put a sub in the trunk you'll have vibration and crappy trunk rattling like all the little ricers you see on the road. Also, you won't feel the bass very well. The only other option is the passenger footwell (shown very well above). You still can't get much out of it but it's your best...- Kiaser

advice on hp upgrade
Yeah most SC setups take advantage of exhaust upgrades you commonly see on vipers. But you will be limited by how much boost you can use because of your pistons so if you want serious boost you are gonna have to get those switched. Heads and cams can always give you more power. Besides...- Kiaser
