You guys are great. I went to the MGW and Partsrack websites and found those billet one's...really nice.
In addition, I want to get a good original one so I called Paul Scharf and sure enough he had a good one and is sending it to me. I'll put his name in my card file for other used parts...
The ashtray in my '94 has a piece broken off the lid...do these interchange with any other vehicle?
I called the local Dodge dealer and he checked nationwide stock and no dealership shows one.
Anybody know where a used one is?
Thx.
I think I read most of the posts, but maybe I missed it...what was the perps reaction when confronted? Was he being an obnoxious ass, contrite, indignant, defiant, sincerely regretful or what? If he's been "a pretty good guy" up until then I'd like to know how he responded. When someone...
Hey viperdude, good to know you're in the area. I run up that way occassionally just to cross the bridge and smell the swamp :) . My rag top pins were missing so I just bought those two from the Dodge dealership right there on US19 north of Home Depot...they were friendly.
In addition to...
Yeah, I don't think I liked that sound or sudden loss of power so I'll be more careful for sure. Thx for the confirmation...means I didn't break something :) .
I gotta say though, these engines are defnitely a different breed. On a Chevy you can easily tell when you're revved, but this...
prop, it might have been. The wings fit perfectly...because it was apparently a prototype made for a '93 or '94, the center section was a tad long front to rear and was very snug going over the spare tire, but otherwise if fit perfectly and it's solidly made. I was just happy that Chris had...
I'm a new viper owner and I was on it hard one night and I wasn't watching the tach and it hit what felt like a rev limiter. Reminded me of the sound a V-Twin makes when you over rev. Do these engines have rev limiters?
Re: Who makes dashes for \'94???
Thx for the removal instructions...I'll print them out. I don't have paint confidence so I'll remove it and take it to a reputable shop. Thx again for your patience with a new owner.
Re: Who makes dashes for \'94???
Thx guys for the suggestions. Since it's not cracked, if I can figure out how to remove it I think I'll have it filled and repainted as a first try. I've got a service manual so hopefully it will tell me how to get it off.
BTW, I like that shift knob...
Two weeks ago I bought and installed the last one that the Viper Store had. It wasn't listed on their website, but he had one left that they made for a '93 and he didn't know if it would fit my '94 or not so I rolled the dice and it fit perfectly. Chris apparently made it himself so if there...
Who makes dashes for \'94???
I bought my '94 a couple months ago and the dash has some pretty deep scars and it bugs me. Does anyone make a replacement dash? Thx.
My rad and fan too have been changed and the temp hits about 220 in traffic and the fan kicks on and it immediately comes down to 190...and that's with 90+ degree days here in Florida.
My garage floor is carpeted. It was that way when I bought the house and I was agast when I saw it and two cars parked on it, but after I tried it I'll never go back to anything else...it's been 8 years and I still like it. I've built two street rods and dozens of firearms on it and it makes...
I'm pretty happy with Krylon stuff...I'll make a trip to Ace hardware and see if they have a color that matches. I know, I know, fat chance finding a spray can of Viper interior charcoal gray paint :) .
I may stop by the upholstery shop here in Fl that makes my interiors for me and see if...
Re: Ya can\'t even sell something in the VCA classifieds without a SCAM
Send a response and tell him that you too have a two party, out of state, post dated personal refund check for $20k and if he will send you his refund check for $6k plus a Western Union money transfer for the other $14k...
The top of the plastic seat back is faded and discolored...what type of paint will adhere to that material and does anyone know a paint number? Does Mopar happen to offer it in a spray can?
Mine's just a chirp too. The guy I bought it from threw in a door lock kit...just gotta study the installation tips on this site and then tackle it one day.
I just bought my '94 two weeks ago and it has the original Mopar hard top which requires the sports bar pad to be removed. I found an installation sheet in the glove box and it says Mopar on it so I'm pretty sure it's a Mopar hart top. The sheets too long for my scanner or I'd post it for you...
Got the pad mounted. The bolts are 8mm. Bought 2" long bolts and used a fender washer ground down on two sides to make it flat oval in shape so it filled in the damaged area just fine.
Thx to all for the help.

Thanks for the welcome...looks like this is gonna be fun.
As far as the quote goes...these cars are made of fiberglass aren't they? At least part of them anyway?
I ueed to take my glass bodied bucket to car shows and all the guys with metal buckets said "If it ain't steel it ain't real"...
