Pre-Oil sitting Viper, MORE help Please....

Are you guys retarded? you'll still have all the engine parts moving, how is it different from having an ignition in the combustion chamber?? Priming through the distributor pumps oil through the engine but the crank, camshaft, etc... DO NOT move. If you run a dry engine it doesn't matter if...

    Question about Steering pulling

from the "TOP GEAR" article, thread.... "Those big, thin-profile tyres (the rears are 345/30s) also mean the Viper crashes over every irregularity, and skips its tail each time the driveline is seized in the grip of that monumental torque." Yes, I was right of course. Thank you very much.

    Nice picture set!

They should be rear fog lights, very bright red rights to prevent collision in thick fog. Mandatory in the EU.

I raced a brand new 911 Turbo, and it was a close race!!! I was impressed, I thought I'd beat it easy. I was too busy keeping my eyes on traffic and on the road, but we were dead even from 50 to 130... Cheers!

    Aftermarket Exhaust

Ok, last post here I promise! (will try) Exhibit A - Stock SRT dyno results X A/F mixture Exhibit B - Stock SRT minus cats, plus you put a POTATO in the exhaust pipe. since the dyno sample sensor is placed at the exhaust tip, exhibit B WILL BE LEANER. Why?? because even with less flow...

    Question about Steering pulling

ZO6's tires are smaller than the vipers up front, right? And yes, the fatter the tires the bigger the problem. I've experienced it with many cars that I have upgraded the wheels. I am sure suspension geometry will come into play as well, but the bottom line is that there isn't much you can do...

    Break-In Time

Porsche took it OFF the manual, Mr E65 or whatever you said up there. They had to put it back on it, when guys like you who think they are driving lawnmowers demanded to know "How to break in their cars" Robbie, if you say we need break in then I am sure we really do not need one! because you...

    Aftermarket Exhaust

What pissing contest? This is one of the most civilized discussions we've had here in some time. If you want to see pissing contests read the old threads. PA Viper, lets see what you know about exhausts and how an engine works. Please enlighten us with your vast knowledge. Cheers!

    Aftermarket Exhaust

Yes, I know. But read the thread and you won't see "WOT" being mentioned anywhere. But you are definitely correct in what you are saying.

    Break-In Time

That is on the manual for morons who still think a break in is required, as I explained above with Porsches. have fun in your "break-in"

    Question about Steering pulling

the wider the tires, the more the car will follow any imperfection on the road. This is absolutely normal for the Viper, or any car with fat shoes. You can check alignment, but even with a correct one the car will still follow the road's imperfection, or truck tire grooves... Those who say...

    Aftermarket Exhaust

Ok, I thought about it and now I figured it out (BTW, you are wrong ;) ) What happens is this: When you have CATS, the unburned fuel is burned at the cats (that's what they are there for!). Therefore, when the cats are removed, this unburned is expelled through the exhaust. But the...

    Aftermarket Exhaust

Yes, it was pretty obvious, nobody here thought that you wre refering to the actual suspension. But I still disagree on the engine running rich after installing off-road exhaust... :nono: Let's agree to disagree!

    Aftermarket Exhaust

How do you know? Not challenging you, just wondering. I am not debating the benefits of a computer remapping, That'd be foolish. Insomniac. I understand completely the increased flow with the removal of cats, of course, I've been around engines for a bit. quite a bit! the ECU's job is to...
