If you use the search engine on this site you will find many threads discussing what to look for in purchasing a new Viper. I also recommend that you call Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse Dodge and/or Chuck Tator at Tator Dodge. They are long time supporters of the VCA and viper owners in general...

Tire and Car Storage question (Pilotsports)

I got carpet sample pieces for $0 a the carpet store and cut 4 pieces of 3/4" plywood slightly undersize to the carpet. Pump up the tires to 45PSI and drive on the carpet pads. I have had no flat spots. If you can move the Viper a couple of times in winter so the tires are rotated even better...

    Hot side sills

GTS Bruce: No wonder Lake Erie has taken on a yellow tint. SilverViper: I can tell you from experience that if your area requires emissions checks, you will likely not pass HC. I tried everything, but could not pass until I put cats back on. I used Random Tech high flow cats from Parts Rack...

OFFICIAL SRT-10 POLL!!! THUMBS UP or THUMBS DOWN?

The SRT-10 has some real performance improvements which are on target. It has sharp, aggressive styling.........until you compare it to the original. Regretfully, Thumbs down. The appeal of the Gen 1 and Gen 2 cars (especially the GTS for me) are without equal.

    HighFlow Cats

I just installed the Random Tech hi Flow cats in my GTS. I got from Parts Rack. I purchased the GTS a few months ago, but when it flunked the e-check, I had to put the cats on. My impressions are that the sills are a little cooler without the HF cats, but I think it is much cooler than stock...

Want to Put together a ext. Warranty Group buy?

I think the question re a 94 is a good one. There are surcharges applicable for cars out of warranty. I do not know how far DC will go back. However if they accept the contract and a 94 is on the paperwork it would be difficult for them to complain later. Another question is whether or not a...

Here's what I'm paying for tires...stop me if I'm making a big mistake...

Re: Here\'s what I\'m paying for tires...stop me if I\'m making a big mistake... It depends on what you want and whether or not you want to participate in Viper Days events, but the Kumho tires are getting pretty good marks at much less than your quote. Stick with Pilots if you what to do...

    My Viper Weekend

A few more answers: 3. Sean Roe has a link which fixes the clutch pedal misalignment and includes instructions about adjustment of the loud pedal. Both are easily done and the cost is about $25 or so. 10. Handling may have been affected by the age and type tires. The Michelin Pilots are an...

No one will answer my cats vs. muffler e-mails. Will someone help me?

You should use the search page to find topics which include smell and cat. There are many topics which discuss your problem. Some cars have no problem and others have serious fuel odors. I think you will find that it has something to do with the fuel air mixture being too rich. There are...

    HELP!! Why do I stink?????

If you search the posts, there are topics re the stink when you remove the cats. I recall seeing a few posts which disagree, but you will find a number of comments that removing the cats causes the stink. I agree that high flow cats are the best option.

    Hood hinges

I am a new owner, however when closing the hood, I always press on the hood about 8" inside of each louver. The hinge flange mounts there and I think that avoids the hood crecking problem. I am not sure about pressing between the headlights. There are several topics on this subject in the...
