All the videos are so f'ing awesome! You produce some great videos with the music and all. I love watching them!!!
What mods do you have on your '93? How many driving courses (classes) have you attended. I would love to try that sometime... might have to drive up to visit my sister in...
I currently have OEM brakes/pads on my '01 RT/10. Very high dust and slight squealing at low speed stops. I've been considering a change to the EBC red stuff pads for the low dust and possible track time. This based on what I've read on these boards. Now I'm nervous about this decision...
CONGRATULATIONS Chuck!!!! I'm extremely happy for you. And also to all the VCA members who raised their voices on your behalf! You guys are the greatest! :nana: :notworthy:
Gray leather seats & dash were the only options in '92-'93. In '94 they added a tan interior with black dash as an option. I couldn't find anything in a GenI that had black seats. Probably custom or retro fit from a GenII. I'm no expert but based on what I do know... that's the story. Run...
it probably has a "salvage" title due to the extensive repair! That by itself is why the value is so low... and also will forever limit your ability to sell the car at a reasonable price. Yes, the hoods are THAT expensive from the factory (i heard $15K actually). I would HIGHLY recommend that...
Hey, I'd go to any gas station if there were some hotties to give me some service! I wouldn't care what the price per gallon was. A very nice pair, Dave6666!
Excellent! Having never experienced a track day, I would have liked to know what his revs or speed was periodically. I loved how he was blowing by the ricers! hahaha!!!
When I'm just cruising or stuck behind slow stupid people in the left lane, my cars running about 1500-1600 RPM in 6th at 70mph.
((I have a stock rear end in my '01 RT/10))
Of course, this or any white Viper is not my preference but it would be a very sad day if all Vipers looked alike! I personally think it is great that he has made that car his own one-of-a-kind ride! Power to individuality man!!! It's a free country! If you can dream it... you can own it...
oh man, i'm so jealous! they would look great on my black rt/10 too! Guess what just went to the top of my wish list?! AWESOME shoes... time to go "dancing"!
Man, I can only imagine all the agony the owner's in. Assuming he's the one who did the damage and abandoned it, then he's probably already in custody... and he's crying into the stainless steel toilet in his cell. If he isn't the one who did the damage... he's probably just finding out where...
Paint color changed from yellow to black! I love it! Carfax is clean and no physical evidence of accident. I suppose on the surface some might avoid this car since it isn't original... but with everyone modifying engines/exhaust/brakes/stereos... why not modify the paint?
Of course, there is...
I don't know if I should mention this or not... but if I can't speak truthfully, then there's not much point to this forum.
I just purchased a '01 RT/10 with 46,000 miles on it. No S/C but the moter was just rebuilt (ported & polished heads), new clutch, fresh paint, clean Carfax and I paid...
Oh man... I completely agree! I wish there was something we could do. I own an Avenger and a Viper and now I'm ashamed of what Chrysler is doing to Tator's Dodge. How does Chuck's dealership harm them in any way? I just can't understand it.
Best wishes Chuck. You have my sympathies...
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to update anyone still subscribed to this thread... and to thank those of you that have offered me advice and parts!
THANK YOU!!! I sincerely appreciate it!!
Mike... Darryl... :thankyou:
I have bought, or been gifted, all the parts I needed except...
I'm not sure what kind of headers I have - other than RUSTY! (Currently the only one it seems) but I've heard plenty of good reasons to add them back to my engine. (Previous owner removed)
I haven't heard one good advantage to leaving them off and the risk to the car in general seems high...
OK, Rmani... some friendly advice...when you put your foot in your mouth, it's best to spit it out and ask for forgiveness. I seriously don't think your threat of withholding potential future business from someone carries any weight at all. I have only been a Viper owner and VCA forum member...
After looking at the melted Viper, I think I'll use the 'better safe than sorry' mentality. Seems like cheap insurance and peace of mind to me. I certainly don't think there is anything wrong with the appearance by adding them nor does leaving them off add anything - except risk. THANKS for...
