    My Creampuff NA Build

I think the tuning was primarily for WOT. When it was originally tuned ~3 years ago, while they have lots of experience with AEM, ProEFI, etc, I think the their knowledge was limited using the VEC. This is just a guess, but I think the original tuner (not Lar) may have under-estimated the...

    My Creampuff NA Build

My set-up runs a bit rich (P0172/0175 rich bank CELs). I have put ~6k miles with no mechanical or performance problems or anything, but am having some additional tuning done next Friday. I have to pass emissions since I moved and can't pass with it throwing the codes. I am guessing trimming...

    Throttle % question

I am going to pull the smooth tubes and visually check the thottle bodies and also double check that the percentage the scanner is giving me isn't actually a conversion of voltage the TPS is seeing (e.g. 17% of 5 = .86). By the way, I am using an Actron CP9180. It is nice and user friendly...

    Throttle % question

I was scanning my 97 GTS for a MIL (P0172/175), but also noticed that the TPS % was reading at 17.2 % with just the key turned on and with the pedal at WOT it read about 75%. Is this normal? I guess I was expecting it to read at 0% at idle and ~100% at WOT position? Thanks in advance for your...

    My Creampuff NA Build

Re: Plumcrazy & Greg Good Are a.... Very nice. Make sure you are well hydrated before you go on your first drive or you will likely experience extreme cramping from the huge smile you'll have on your face:D

    My Creampuff NA Build

Re: Plumcrazy & Greg Good Are a.... Hi JD, Yes, they are a very nice set of heads and the flow figures were very strong as evidenced by the solid mustang dyno figures....but you kinda had an idea of what I would be getting :rolaugh:

    My Creampuff NA Build

Re: Plumcrazy & Greg Good Are a.... Good luck with your build. You can't go wrong with a good heads/cam package from Greg. As for the fuel system, you may or may not be max'd out on fuel, depending on your specs/tune. I left a few hp on the table (maybe 5-10rwhp) with my GG heads/cam set-up...

Is there many people out there running Drag Radials....

Like most have already touched on..... - not very good for spirited cornering - tire life is pretty short - tend to sand-blast your panels as they pick up and throw lots of road debris on your painted panels. - be careful if you get on it when it is cool outside or caught on wet roads

why do people hate on these cars so damn much!!!

While the spitting is a bitch move, I don't see why some on here would buy a Viper or similar car and then do their best to "avoid" or be surprised at the attention they inherently will draw....it just makes no sense:dunno: I get asked all kinds of questions/comments whether I am driving down...

    Gas cover corroded

This is true, but in my case, I just bought a mopar replacement gasket. For some reason the gasket wasn't sized correctly, but a couple minutes with an x-acto knife fixed that:D

    Gas cover corroded

As mentioned by one others, can go with an MGW cap or send it off to be chromed. I chose the chroming route and am very pleased with my choice.

    Increasing Compression: How?

;) Now get yours done already, so we can see what a serious N/A, roller cam'd Viper can do!

    1997 Viper GTS Dyno Runs

I had the same basic mods (borla, filters & smooth tubes) on my '97, but had also eliminated the cats. With those mods mine dyno'd 459hp/497tq on a Mustang dyno.

    New Engine Pics

The updated pics look great, Marty! I am guessing the gains will be very solid given the mods you already have. Are you installing the headers yourself or by others? If others, is it the place we discussed?

    ALL MOTOR BUILD!!(Pics)

Hey Greg, Nope, intake is still untouched. Fuel is still stock too. Plan on taking care of both in 2009, which should push me over the 600rwhp mark:D

    ALL MOTOR BUILD!!(Pics)

I think you mis-understood my question or more likely, I didn't express myself clearly. I know the impact of the ported heads, I have those already. My question is regarding porting/modifying the stock intake manifold. Thanks.

    ALL MOTOR BUILD!!(Pics)

Quick 2-part question maybe someone can help provide some info on....I, like several others are still using the stock intake manifold. At what point (what is an indicator) that one would benefit from having it port-match, etc? Secondly, is the power gain mainly at peak or would it provide...

The wheels look great. My plans are to send my 19" VR1's to them as soon as my current rubber needs changing.
