Huh?
A Dodge warranty is good at ANY Dodge dealer (wouldn't matter if Chuck was in China)
I was not sure if the only warranties available were Dodge warranties or if Dealers sold their own (non-transferable) variants.
Don't mean to hi-jack the thread but are extended warranty prices negotiable?
Chuck is in the North East if I am not mistaken. Are warranties sold by Chuck transferable to other Dodge dealers?
I am asking as I should probably get an extended one too.
There was an article in the new Automobile magazine that DC is considering bringing the Dodge nameplate across the pond to Europe. The strategy would use the SRT-10 as the flagship model (duh).
Anyway, to accomodate the Euro market, a Coupe would be introduced.
Not sure of the substance...
Current eBay bid is $100. What do you expect to sell these for?
In terms of suggestions, you might consider selling it with some sort of bonnet (car cover material) that would protect from dust and minor dings when stored in the garage for the summer months where the top is kept off for...
I'm just putting thje finishing touches on a lift system I made using a hoist and some electrical PVC conduit.
I bought a hoist from Harbor Freight ($79) and installed it on the wall of the garage and attached a pulley on the ceiling directly above the RT/10.
I cut 2 pieces of 1.5" diameter...
Jeesh. I did not expect such a polarized response.
Think I'll try the Langka on my wife's car and then take the RT/10 to a body job.
Can anyone recommend a good paint shop in the Northern VA area? I had a bad experience with the shop HBL recommended last year.
Thanks for all the responses.
Well it was bound to happen sooner or later. A rock decided to bounce off the hood and richochet into the windshield leaving deep scratches in her hood and a chip in the windshield.
Even the 5 coats of Zaino was not strong enough protection for this.
Now that the mourning period...
Do a search on each of your questions... you'll find many threads on each except the age thing.
Daily drivers - plenty of em.
Footwells get hot but not un-manageable -- lot's of minor mods are available to reduce temps.
Car is quite comfortable but not tame. Driving it at it's limit requires...
RockyTop,
Did you ever get to the bottom of this issue? I have the same problem with the squealing starting at 2500 rpm to about 4000 rpm. Figured it was the belt but it is less than a year old with 3K miles on it.
Thanks,
Charles.
No wood on the steering wheel but it is Cognac leather. Very comfortable and looks great. Can't post any pics (nowhere to host them right now) but I can email you some if you like. Send me your email address if you are interested - I'm at [email protected].
Charles.
Or you can do like me and buy on a whim!
Seriously though, all Vipers are awesome and easy to fall in love with. Figure out what you are looking for balancing creature comforts (electric windows) vs. cash and jump in without looking back. Just make sure you understand the history of the car...
You might want to do a search on "spare tire safety" on this forum.
The spare tire is suppose to help reduce occupant injuries in rear end collisions. I'm no expert but you might want to read those threads before you cut that bolt off.
Regards.
BMW 745i... Not a sports car (but it does have 325 horses).
Seats are unreal. 20 way adjustment. Massaging, cooling & heated. Headrests contour to your head. Well bolstered for spirited driving.
Only negative ... takes 30 minutes to find that ideal position -- thank God for memory...
I'm jealous. I soooo wanted to go.
Got my Viper in June and just couldn't get my ducks in a row fast enough.
Chuck 98 RT/10's post reads that Viper Days is annual... are these regionally sponsored (and hence held accross the country more frequently) or is this it until next year?
