I would probably bit on that one, and considered it a free Viper for a few months. I go to the local Manheim dealer auction here in the Springfield, but I would expect Vipers will be few and far between.

Not only would I never ship a car that I don't have 100% payment on, I also wouldn't ask someone else to do it if I were the buyer. I might do it for a good friend, but even then I'd be leery.

Re: Which ones are the
I'm a "no mod" kind of guy when it comes to my GTS. I did put the MGW shift knob on it, and the power steering vent kit. Other than that, nothing planned.

A little eBay tip ... Lower the starting bid, or don't have one at all. You're more likely to get your price if you let bidding start. Trust me.

Dan, another vote for the Covercraft Dustop. I've been covering cars for 20 years, using all different brands. The Dustop that I got for my Viper GTS is the best I've ever owned.

I drove a '77 Camaro with a nitrous-injected 396 big block when I was 16. But the "Dad rules" were incredibly strict, and I knew better than to break them.
Don't know what I'd do about the Viper driving request. It really depends on the kid asking. Some I would trust, others I most likely...

Beautiful! I'm of course partial to the sapphire, but I'd gladly put that bumblebee in my garage ...

I was at a car show tonight marveling at how dated a Boss 429 Mustang looked next to the newer models. It's really a wonder how old one sells for 3 times the price of a new one isn't it?
You asked what people thought it would be worth, and then attack the person that actually answers it honestly?
Maybe it's actually people like you that are damaging the value of the Gen III cars?

That is unreal - If karma matters, that f'er will be dead before long one way or the other. Hopefully he doesn't take out good people on this way out ...
It's good to shop around, and Hagerty also does agreed value. I sent them my appraisal for over $70K, even though they told me that I didn't need to in order to have the agreed-value policy.

That epilectic comment cracked me up! Good one ...
I actually do the mini-skirt style entry. I probably make it harder on myself since I don't like grabbing any part of the car while getting in or out.

Joe, it could also be possible that they make plenty of money, have several toys to chose from, and just have a thing for perfect condition low mileage cars :-)
