Re: CCW 17\" rims for the road course
Hey Shawn-- I saw on a previous post that you were from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Drop me and e-mail and I will touch base with you.
Thanks,

I used Aldan shocks and springs ordered through parts rack. There are different degress of spring stiffness that will influence handling and Jon B or a knowledgeable mechanic can advise you in this regard.
sorry about that. the car is driven mainly on the highway. Also, I will race it in 1/8 and 1/4 mile strips. I haven't tracked the car but perhaps so in the future.
I am considering upgrading the braking system on my 1999 GTS. I am investigating Brembo vs Stoptech systems. Any advice from VCA members would be appreciated. Thanks.
I would check with Gary Defratus-- He has the largest Viper repair facility in Texas. I believe his address, phone number, etc. is in the VCA classifeds. His business is in Irving, Texas.
This is an excellent example of utilization of available technology to markedly improve the car. To those of us that are geographically impaired, a navigation system is most helpful. Overall fit and finish is superb. Kudos to you!!
Any comments on using these for the viper. I saw some Accel armor shielded spark plug wires that looked pretty impressive. Since I will need to change spark plug wires fairly soon I was considering these as replacements. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
How about some pictures of the car from the side. Also, I am curious about lowering the car with springs versus multiadjustable shocks and springs. Which is best in terms of handling, ride, etc. Any commments would be appreciated.
I had the 3M clear coat applied to the front facia, part of the hood and the side mirrors. Overall, it looks very good. You can see a slight line on the hood but it really is quite acceptable in terms of appearence. Defratus Collision in Irving, Texas did the work for me. In fact, my car is...
I'd like to change the seat belts from black to silver in color. Apparently,
Dodge doesn't make silver seat belts. Has anyone changed their seat belt color? If so, where did you purchase the belts, or did you have the belts dyed?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
