    Mopar race exhaust - anyone using it?

    Jesse, my viper tech here and DC got together and they decided to lower the freon from 1lb to .8lbs and the a/c works alot better.

    We have taken a few week long vacations and we have not had any trouble with packing the trunk. Use soft luggage bags not the hard cases. You don't need fifty pairs of shoes and twenty outfits for a short vacation. My wife packs light as I do.

    My 05 Dyno'd 456.9 max power / 467.6 max torque, mopar race computer,cam and exhaust. 11.5 was the Air/Fuel. Can the race computer be tuned better? Who can do it?

    I agree, the increase in hp for the cost I don't think is a good exchange. I would do it different if I were to do it over. The mopar race equipment just isn't worth the cost.

    I have another question about Dynoing: What is the best way to do it? This guy had me get it to 2000rpms in 4th, then floor it until I hit 6000rpms, then hit the clutch. I have heard to start in 3rd and shift to 4th. What is the standard?

    2008=First 200mph Viper?

    My question would be: if top speed is 195, will adding HP actually add more speed or just get you to the top faster? Don't the gears, tranny and diff, limit the cars speed? Not an engineer, just wondering.
