    Seems like I remember a performance rocker kit for small block Chevy's or something that included a tool you screwed onto the head somehow. It had a cutting tool on one end and its' cut depth was limited by the design of the tool to mill the rocker stand surface just a bit ...years ago...

    A trip to McDonald's doesn't set me back $250. Technically it may be strengthening the frame compared to the OEM thin steel piece, but functionally I'd say it's a stretch to say that about a long 1/4" thick piece of aluminum bolted to a frame that so far hasn't any field reports of bending...

    FASTER THAN A VIPER

    On the other hand, 60's Hemi cars running today in the factory stock/looks factory stock (whatever it is..) class with strokers, ported heads, cams and other go fast stuff that doesn't violate the 'must look stock' rule, can do low 11s/high 10s on Polyglass repro tires.

    Since the airbox clips are not Viper specific, and are available at yur Chevy dealer and auto parts stores, I wonder if anyone knows if that same design is available in longer lengths ?

    Is the same spoke pattern available without the reversed look deep inset used in the rear Forgeline rims? I'm getting the impression the VR1s are reversed, so maybe a VR is not?
