Well, since I am selling my viper I wont need this any longer. I purchased 2 of the subs that go between the seats when I found out the car had a 6ohm system and you could not use a regular mini-sub without possibly damaging the head unit and amp.
What a bitch it was to track that down. Dodge...
thanks matt..
I was hoping to hear that. Its not like you cant restore it to the factory silver if you wanted. pretty rare in 98.. I think...
and yes, the title is clean:)
From what I can tell, I dont see many enthusiasts..more like a ton of muscle car fans.
$45,000 is where Im starting...
It is a 98. Hard and soft tops. Telford is in PA about 45 minutes north of Philly...
Boy am I gonna miss all that attention. :(
Hopefully, the investment will bring me and SRT instead:) :)
Looks like I will be selling the car after not having it very long. Need the extra cash to purchase a bar in the area. Custom painted. Need to see to appreciate the color, and yes.. Its a great paint job. The color looks different in differnt lighting. At night, it looks like a deep maroon, day...
You cannot just replace them but need to replace the entire system. Dodge like many other manufacturers put in a 6 ohm system and most aftermarket speakers are 4 ohm. You cannot run 4 and 6 ohms together.
Well, you can but will destroy your amp. That is a guarantee..
So I purchased my zaino kit last week after reading about it on the forum. Are you shi**ing me?
this stuff is awesome!!!!
I cannot believe the results. Worth every freakin penny:)
Just some quick research...
A sponsored vendor:
Edelbrock Headers
Price $1,795.00
Non-vendor(summitracing)
Edelbrock Headers
$1,328.69
$450 for the exact same header. THat my friends is some serious gauging. You know damn well Summit is paying half of that for them and they are the cheap company.
Hi Klinger,
I do OK in the money department and Im not complaining about that. Its more of an investment issue. The money spent on these mods cannot possibly be seen again after selling the car as they are so high. Im not so sure they dont hurt the value to be honest.
Viperman, I assumed it...
OK, I know Im new here but I have to say that these prices on mods from most of the distributors are a joke. I understand the pay to play mentality but cmon, $2000+ for headers. At best they cost $300 to make.
Do I get a friendly "reach-around" with that.. :o
I guess owning a viper puts a...
Hi RX VIPER,
Yes, Im the lucky one. Mary was awesome. Went out of her way helping me get the car.
Chuck ( Viper Wizard) .. Are you the man Im supposed to talk to about a warranty?
Yes, I bought it from another VCOA user and I yes she had it on ebay.. The bra is temporary as its hiding some chips. Need to repaint the frontend but cannot get the paint code. It seems to chip easier than factory paint. hmm?
backnblack, Why not zaino for this paint?
Just ordered their entire...
Hi Everyone,
Just purchased my first Viper. Got rid of my 2000 vette and ohh what a difference. The vette was a little more cozy but the Viper is sooooo much more fun. :o
