For those of you that have not read the entire post I know I need a fuel system. We have not run the engine past 4800 rpms and have shut it down every time before it goes lean. I did not expect to make this much HP at such low rpms. I have been just getting input before I decide...
:) Thought about doing the return line but if got all the stuff basically apart to do that then I would just do the whole fuel system. Now I am starting to reconsider the 600 RWHP now. I like the idea of having 800+ RWHP I just don't want this motor giving up on me after all the...
 I know what you are saying but I don't think that is the case here. Done leak down test and no problems found. I do have the MGW dipstick top and it sits a lot looser than the tight factory one. Almost positive that is where the blow by is coming from. :2tu:
Of course they were. It is at 12.4 or so at 5000 rpm's. Why we know we have to have fuel pump. I was just trying to get by w/o one b/c I want my car back. I see the error of my ways now and will probably just be happy with 600 RWHP for now. Matt
Have a Paxton on my '96 GTS. Have several small uprgrades added on the system (bigger injectors(50), fuel rails, smaller pulley(275) 4R tuning and cat back corsa exhaust. That is it. Nothing major. Really did not expect to be climbing into the 800+ RWHP territory. Might just put it back to...
Another question. With just the Paxton supercharger and a few minor add-ons I am making 820 RWHP at 5,000 rpm's (dyno) :2tu: . I am in the process of putting a fuel system in. My question is how much HP will this Viper engine handle. I am not sure where the RWHP numbers will stop after it...
I do not post asking for help or input often and now I know why. Other than a few good guys on here the rest of you only care about yourselves. No matter how fast you think you are there will always be somebody faster. There is no secrets in making HP. We are not re-inventing the wheel here...
Thanks. We are trying your buddies suggestion this morning. It would be nice if it works. I take it from the post he is running a stock fuel pump too?
Thanks again,
Matt
Question for the board. I want everyones .02 on this one. I have a Paxton on my '96 GTS w/ 3,000 miles. I have realized I need a fuel system to support the 750 RWHP I am capable of making with charger and some add-ons. This of course is going to take more time and probably lead to needing...
Thanks a lot. I will check the plugs. I am not sure what the gap is I will check. If that is good what about the map sensor hitting 5 amps at 4500 rpm's. How do you correct that? Matt
Thaks for all the replies. Proracer I sent you an email. DChan remember that is only at 5000 rpm's. Tested on dyno. Jack B thanks for your imput also. Have done all advised. Just hoping there is a way around plumping a new fuel system. I would even consider a little less HP but the next...
Have a Paxton on my '96 GTS. Have several small uprgrades added on the system (bigger injectors(50), fuel rails, smaller pulley(275) 4R tuning. The car is making 670 RWHP and 725 Lbs of torque at 5000 RPM's w/ 10 lbs. of boost. Now the problem comes in. The car basically shuts down at 5000...
