Beautiful cars!!!! At least your asphalt seemed to be clear. Down here in Kentucky we are still covered in ice, LOL:rolaugh:
In about 20 years I'm going to retire to somewhere on the equator.:headbang: But for now (at least for the next month or so) I live in the winter wonderland.
Honestly, I would probably just keep them as a spare set for emergencies, or for in between orders. That's what I'm going to do. You could possibly sell them on the classified section also.
Just my 2 cents.
Andrew,
I agree with johnk above. Don't mismatch the tires unless you plan to do only straight line drags. The difference in adhesion (grip) between the two will cause you all sorts of problems.:nono:
I am using the MGW knob. However, I used this with the stock shifter as well. If I had it to do over again, I would have just installed the knob on the stock setup and been done with it. The biggest difference came from taking out the original
6-8" shift knob. Much shorter throw just from...
Hey guys,
Just wanted to share the results of my B&M shifter install on my 2006 coupe. First of all, the install although not extremely difficult, I would not attempt to do it again given another opportunity. Second, after the install I didn't notice any difference in throw...
That is a nightmare that I hope I never have to experience first-hand.:crazy2: Goodluck with the legal proceedings....sounds like they should really rethink their business practices.:nono:
Can't say as I do.:rolaugh: I'm just feel fortunate to be able to call myself a Viper owner and a new member of the VCA. Wish I would have taken the plunge a long time ago:(
Ordered mine from Jon B. @ PartsRack. I have them but haven't gotten a chance to install them as of yet. They look amazing though!!!!!:headbang: I'm not in quite the ideal operating climate (Kentucky) but I will post a review when/if we get a warm day after the install.
:rolaugh:Don't give it another thought, Mark. I'm just glad that we're both busy given the current economic situation. Just shoot me an email whenever you get a chance.
FYI, I am supposed to be meeting up with Hiss this weekend to check out the setup you did for him. Hopefully seeing his...
Looks great Mark....congrats. PM me when/if you get a chance so we can talk about possible mods for my 06 coupe. I left a message on your cell phone a few days ago...now I know why I haven't heard back, LOL!!:drive:
Hey guys can anybody tell me who might have a Borla cat-back system in stock. I have called all over and nobody seems to have these. I called Borla directly and they informed me that it would be 6-8 weeks before they manufactured anymore for the Viper:crazy2: Does anybody have a clue where I...
Tere,
The exhaust looks fantastic and sound even better. Is there any type of drone in the car after the install? I have been looking at both the Borla and Corsa systems but am leaning more towards the Borla now.
Hiss,
If you'll send me your email address I'd be glad to send some pics of the car. I'm a little embarrassed, but I don't know how to post them here.:rolaugh:
Hiss,
My viper is black with silver stripes (factory). Good looking car if I do say so myself. I love black....Ijust wish it didn't show every little spec of dust or blemish, LOL.
We'll definitly have to get together sometime. My brother-in-law lives in the Louisville area so maybe...
Matt,
I'm by no means a professional mechanic and I haven't experienced that problem with my 06 Coupe....but I had a similar situation happen in a Mustang that I had supercharged. Turned out to be a wire in the Mass Air Meter that was making contact with bare metal. At low rpm (during the...
