I bought a red 94 RT/10 this year and absolutely love the car! Everything is original, including the 3 spoke painted gray wheels. I like the stock look, but sometimes wonder if I should have the wheels polished or chromed? Part of me wants to keep the car stock, another wants the polished...
The how to describes a burping procedure, but does not talk about flushing. I too am curious what the recommended flushing procedure is to change the fluid?
Does anyone know the specs of the Gen 1 factory amplifiers? Ohms? RMS wattage? I know there are 2 and was told they were made by Alpine. I assume that the factory configuration was fronts wired to one amp, and the rears to the other. Is this correct?
Does anyone have the "Viper RT/10" logo/artwork, a jpg, anything? I'm having a glass block cut out and need to get this to add to the sneaky pete logo. Thanks
\"VIPER RT/10\" graphic
I have a high quality vector of the sneaky pete logo, but would like the "Viper RT/10" also. Does anyone have it or know where to find it?
Thanks
I have a '94 RT/10 and just put in a Diehard Gold Series 78. Diehard had the best warranty and was a few bucks cheaper. 3 year replacement, 100 month pro-rated for $93.00 It fit fine.
I've got a 94 RT/10 with the standard chrysler FOB and keys. I've seen several Viper blanks on eBay that are a bit more appealing. Does anyone know if they're legite? What do I need to look for to ensure compatibility? Also, what does it mean when they say "This is not a transponder key."...
This weekend, my alarm started acting up. I first noticed it when my car suddenly stalled at a red light. I couldn't start the car until I realized that the alarm light was blinking, so i disarmed the alarm on the FOB and it started right up. Now, when I turn off the car, I hear a repetative...
Can someone please post or direct me to instructions/techniques for chnging the plug wires in my 94 RT/10. I've started to change the plugs, but cannot see an easy way to get to the wires at the distributor? I've searched the forum, but cannot find a good resource.
Thanks
My engineering professor at Michigan State invented the HANS device! He used to show us pictures of him driving around the round abouts on campus with that device on!
Brings back memories.
Re: I can\'t believe I purchased a 94\' RT/10!
Congrats! I, myself, just purchased a RED 94 RT/10 in May. I absolutely LOVE it! I'm in Royal Oak cruising quite a bit. Let me know if you're ever in the area.
I recently purchased my first Viper in April, a 1994 RT/10. The car has 20,000 miles on it. It has had regular oil changes (I have the records), but nothing else. According to the owner's manual, the radiator, brake, clutch, transmission, and differential fluids should all be changed along...
How do they sound?
The last aftermarket system I had was 12 years ago - 3 12" JL Audio Woofers, 1200 Watt Amp. Had decent low end :)
I've been out of the audio scene for a while now, and don't know if ANY 6.5" will provide low end bass to keep the sound clean.
I am looking for some sugggestions for replacement speakers & amps for the stock audio system. I do not want to install and custom enclosures for bass. Has anyone found 6.5" speakers that have decent low end sound? What component set did you use up front? Single or dual amps?
Thanks
Sorry, I didn't take pictures before the install. I had to saw off the excess threads from the bolts in question to get the seat to fit properly. Northwind told me that the bolts should not interfere with the installation, but the excess can be cut off without affecting anything. Installation...
Here in Detroit, I paid $299 when I bought my first Viper a few months ago. Clay bar + 3 step polish/wax. Interior cleaned with a q-tip and the engine steam cleaned. The car looked good before, but was straight from the showroom when I left! Awesome job!
I recently purchased the Northwind Engineering 1 in seat lowering kit for a Gen 1 Viper. I removed the stock seat and tracks without any problems. When I attempt to install the new lowered tracks, they do not sit fluch against the floor panel due to two bolts on each track that protrude below...
When I set the alarm on my 94 RT/10, the horn chirp is barely audible. The horn is loud when you press it and when the alarm is set off. Is this normal?
1\" Seat Lowering kit? Anyone use it?
I just recently bought a 94 RT/10 and love it. I'm 6'4", however, so you can imagine the tight fit. I've been looking into the Northwind Engineering seat lowering kit (1" w/ travel). Can anyone share their experience with these kits? Is it more...
